"Property was very clean and had everything that we needed. It did have two bedrooms which would be OK if you had two adults and two small kids. Not enough room for 4 adults, but it was perfect for my husband and myself. "Lovely peaceful location just around the corner from the beach. Small shop, cafes and bar near by, we’d recommend a visit to the ice cream parlour - lots of flavours with vegan and doggy options. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. Check-in was seamless and the host responded quickly to all communications. Only downside was no enclosed outside space for our dogs"

"Clean room although over the top amount of bleach used in the bathroom. Bed comfortable but pillows not. Annoyingly located in the middle of a roundabout, difficult to access and no parking. We were on floor 2 and the other family of guests thought it totally fine to use the hallway as a play area and shout at each other outside our room. (Not the hotels fault but demonstrates the type of customer). Cheap and cheerful last minute booking. Not going to be rushing back! Nice bar though."

"Beautiful property located in Chilwack, just outside the main Southampton area. The property is well maintained with well appointed rooms and amenities. Our rooms were spacious and bright, even with being located on the 1st floor. We had opted for the breakfast included rate, and thankful we were for the choice. Lovely tea, coffee, fruit, pastries, cereal as well as hot items. The hotel itself is a little outside the city centre, so a taxi is highly recommended for about 15 quid. We headed back into the city centre last night for a couple for a couple of drinks and food at the Scholars Arms. Again, great experience. Remember, you have to order at the bar as there is no table service. One single complaint about the hotel, if I may, our bed was not comfortable at all. It was like sleeping on the box spring only, as the mattress was either not existent or needed to be replaced. Otherwise, lovely!!"
