    Located in the lively Palazzo building of Porto Letizia, this stylish, 1-bedroom apartment sets the perfect scene for a carefree stay with family or friends. The apartment has a private balcony with an option of relaxation in the Mediterranean sun with long mountain views. Inside, an open living room is furnished with a fully-equipped kitchen for a hassle-free holiday.

    A bedroom with a double bed or twin joinable beds along with a double sofa bed in the living room is available for sleeping. The bathroom is a full suite fitted with a bath/shower and WC and bidet.

    Free Wi-Fi and parking are available for added convenience.

    Location

    Located in the town of Porlezza, this apartment is ideal to explore the Swiss-Italian lakes of Como and Lugano, which are about half an hour’s drive from its location. The Palazzo offers a Wi-Fi-enabled reception area with tourist information, a modern café bar, the restaurant Osteria del Porto and more. Please note that the bar and restaurant are located on the ground floor. During the months of July and August, there is also in-house kids’ entertainment available for families coming with young ones. The holiday resort also features a shared pet-friendly park with foot and bike paths, a communal beach with a lake-view restaurant and a lido bar near the lake area, watersport hire and two children\'s play areas.

    From the resort’s hassle-free location, guests can reach the town amenities, the bus and ferry links and the main lake road of Porlezza and its historic town centre in a 2-5 minute walk. Day trips can be taken to the year-round lake capital of Lugano, the famous Menaggio Cadenabbia and golf club at Lake Como, and Mount Tamaro Adventure Park. Besides, the nearby Grotte di Rescia is a beautiful network of underground caves located at just a 4-minute’ drive and perfect for nature lovers.

    The nearest international airport is Milan Malpensa, located about 1.5 hour drive from the complex.

I came with my daughter and poodle, and we had a wonderful stay. We swam at the beach just a few meters from the apartment and used the free bikes almost every day to ride to the market and bank. We especially enjoyed the many parks and outdoor play areas nearby.The restaurants within walking distance were excellent, and the locally foraged mushrooms from the surrounding mountains were superb. The Porto Letizia staff were kind, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay.I highly recommend this adorable place. Just be aware that Uber is not available in this area, and taxis are scarce and quite expensive. Also, getting to Lake Como from Porlezza on Lake Lugano can be somewhat challenging. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and we would happily return.
