Perfect for 2-3 couples and laid-back groups of 6, this lake view retreat enjoys a corner lake-view balcony and inside offers plenty of room in which to unwind and entertain away.

The air-conditioned apartment benefits from free WiFi access and a laid-back, lake view layout comprising of an open plan living room with double sofa bed, a new flat screen TV and a well-equipped kitchen diner for 6. The bright and spacious living room leads out onto a sunny lake view balcony, with bistro dining set for 2. A light and airy master bedroom with double bed and lake view balcony is accompanied by a 2nd couple-friendly double bedroom and a full family bathroom.

The 2nd floor holiday apartment is easily reached by lift.

Located in Porlezza on Lake Lugano, the 2nd floor apartment is situated within the main Palazzo of Porto Letizia. Within the main 4-storey Palazzo, guests will find an on-site reception, a stylish café bar and contemporary Panama Italian restaurant. The shared family-friendly park features meandering footpaths, a communal beach with SUP and watersport hire, 2 children’s play areas. During the months of July and August there is also a kids’ entertainment program.

From the resort’s central location along ‘Via Prati’, guests will easily be able to reach the town amenities, the bus and ferry links and the main lake road of Porlezza (2-5 minutes’ walk away). Perfect for a fun and varied holiday on the Italian-Swiss Lakes, the resort is within easy driving distance from the year-round lake capital of Lugano and the picturesque small city of Menaggio on Lake Como (22-28 minutes’ drive away).

Not at all what we expected

This property does NOT match what the Vrbo pictures show. It appears the property pictures are from a brochure and are not current. It is a run down property in a run down part of town. The towels were thread-bare, smoke detector was taped to the ceiling, table on terrace was only a base. We rented for a week and left after one night.
