This house is gorgeous and sits in the perfect location. Few minutes from Dollar General, The Big Store and various other shops. Quiet neighborhood with minimal traffic. Beach was clean but we had a few kids who thought fishtailing their 3/4 ton truck and revving up their loud engine while blasting sand and black exhaust everywhere would be entertaining (it wasn't). The house had plenty of cookware and kitchen supplies but didn't have sugar and garlic powder. No big deal, easily remedied with a quick trip to the Dollar General. This house did not provide linens so we brought our own but forgot kitchen towels. Also easily remedied. The bathrooms were stocked with travel size shampoo/conditioners and were spacious and clean. The beds, however, were super soft and felt "well used". If soft is for you, you're gonna love these beds. Our family, however, our backs are still paying the price. The TV in the living sits on a mantel that is too narrow for the pedestal of the TV. I had to keep my grandkids from underneath it because I was afraid it would shimmy off the ledge and come crashing down. Would like to see that secured somehow. Also, the WIFI didn't work and doorlock needed batteries. Called Swedes and door was fixed same day. Wifi, however, never got fixed, said they'd reach out to homeowner but did not hear back for an update. Overall, I'd recommend this home to friends but would give the full scoop so they could prepare and pack appropriately. Next time, I'll be sleeping on the couch!
