Good location Beach access Felt very safe Grounds well kept Rooms need a good spring clean. We had an ant issue in our room, the staff did address as best as possible. Staff were extremely helpful. It’s pretty much a do it yourself resort- Rubbish out, no sheet change, towel change once.

This property feels dated. The rooms at the back of the property feel like you are in the basement. The family rooms may be more pleasant but as a solo traveller it felt like staying in an outdated basement room. Walking past the bin store and maintenance area didn’t give any feeling of comfort. This is definitely a family hotel. Not ideal for solo travellers. The hotel is 15 mins walk out of town. For a solo travellers it may be better to try one in the centre. On a plus side the staff are very friendly and the breakfast is good. The rooms are clean and functional.

Portsea is close enough to the town to walk (20min walk) which is a plus. Unfortunately the accommodation wasn't particularly clean and amenities are tired. We had a room for 3 people (sofa bed) for child but they couldn't give us a pillow for him. The breakfast is average and we had thought that you could buy food at the resort. For the price we were a bit disappointed.

No room tidy service; change of towels at extra cost. No quilt but a blank piece of sheet. Too many cushions and ornaments take up much space in a room which is quite small to start with.

The swim up bar is a bonus, the pool area is lovely, it’s about a 20 min walk into Port Douglas shops and Marina but you can get a shuttle bus if prefer but it’s an easy walk. The staff were all fantastic

Once happy hour finished at six the pool bar closed, seemed odd not to stay open to allow people to have another drink - you’d done a great job luring everyone down then the vibe just stopped. Good for thought.

Good location. Rooms average nothing special no streaming but they have a few Foxtel channels which did the job. Swim up bar....happy hour service was atrocious....$11 beers (so perhaps glad service was no existant)...booked 3 room, couldn't have been further away from each other. Amenities in room , poor, no tea spoons only 3 knifes
