One of the best family holidays we have had!

Property was clean, beautiful, functional and comfortable. Located in a quiet spot walking distance from the Main Street and the beach. The host was an absolute pleasure to communicate with and completely took any stress out of booking and staying away from home. Definitely coming back here!

My friends and I decided that there are just not enough stars in the sky to properly rate Pandanus Place. Great communication with Charlotte, close walk or bike to the beach, shopping & restaurants. Just so lovely. Hands down the best styled, comfiest, cutest vacation rental both my friends and I had ever had the luxury of staying in.

Perfect family getaway!

A beautifully presented home, easy walking to the beach and the Marina where we walked to dinner most nights. Host Charlotte is lovely to deal with and provided fabulous recommendations for things to do in the area. The separation of the living areas was a bonus with teenagers.

Tropical Paradise!

Pandanus Place is a fantastic base for your tropical adventures. Spotlessly clean, stylish decor and really well appointed with thoughtful touches like bug spray, bandaids and beach towels. We had a brilliant week and can’t wait to stay again. Charlotte was a super host and offered great suggestions for things to see and do.

Gorgeous property. Well set up. Great extra touches. Bikes were handy. Charlotte was super helpful with directions, loaning us a yoga mat, providing us with a bottle of wine, lemons and a delicious papaya. She also organised to return a shaver we left behind. Only negative was there is a bit of noise from the bins, the pool and the adjoining neighbours. Otherwise everything was excellent.

Fabulous property in quiet location

Beautiful tropical style house with all mod cons and super comfy. Everything provided for weary travelers. My 2 adult sons and I loved it. We walked into PD and it took about 20 minutes or less and an easy cycle ride as flat. Absolutely love PD and my sons used the shared pool. Charlotte left lovely thick beach towels, sun cream, all the little extras that a lot of other places don’t. We would definitely return if we come back to PD.

Wonderful Place!!

We had 6 adults in our group and Full Moon Place was a perfect home-away-from-home for us! The location was wonderful since it was very close to the down town area but enough distance to provide a quiet neighborhood. We got great use of the bikes and BBQ. David and Leslie have provided all the necessities for biking including helmets, air pump, locks as well as baskets on most of the bikes. Even though we used the bikes a lot we could also easily walk to the shops, groceries and the beach. The beds were very nice and comfortable. Other VRBO we have stayed at over the years haven't had such nice beds as those David and Leslie have provided. The floor plan was great with a dining area separate from a comfortable livingroom. Both had ample space for six adults. There were a few board games to enjoy when we needed a break from the sun and heat. Wonderful place to stay in a wonderful part of the world.

Great lil PD Holiday spot

Such a perfect little holiday spot for 3 friends enjoying a kid-free holiday! It's a short walk to the beach or a meander into town, or, you can do what we did and make the most of the bikes provided with the house and bike everywhere.

Everything you need

We had a great week away in Port Douglas and this home had everything we needed for a family of 5 (kids aged 1, 4, 8). Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, toys and games and a security gate on the stairs. It was lovely to stay in such a beautifully renovated and styled space! We chose to drive to the beach as the short walk was a bit far for a toddler and crosses a busy road (most young families like ours will be travelling with a car so this was no problem). We would certainly return- thank you Charlotte for a great holiday.

Gorgeous house, 10 min away from beach, perfect getaway

The property was immaculate, the host quick to respond and friendly, and location was perfect - 10 mins walk to the beach and 5 mins by car to all the restaurants. The house is a part of a larger complex that shares the pool. Small warning: the neighbours are nice, but just make sure you close the windows cause the houses are quite close and they can hear you when you're talking.
