Perfect Getaway
Discovery is a real gem. A spacious, well-designed layout right on a beautiful pet-friendly beach. The 1 bedroom unit was well equipped and provided more than enough room for us and our dog. Views of the Gulf from the living room but even better views from the deck. Just a few steps and you’re on the beautiful white sands of St. Joe Beach. Pristine Properties was very accommodating. Great place…Great stay!!

Most Disappointing VRBO Property Ever Booked
The unit was very poorly maintained. I discovered the hot water heater was leaking,and had been for a while due to algae and about to overflow the clogged drain pan. We were without how water 1 day and experienced a flood when the plumber replaced the heater due to an issue with previous installation. There was mud on the floor from the sand/dirt that were under the area rug, chairs and couch as we helped the plumber clear the water from the kitchen/living area. I reported an issue with the sliding glass door the first day not closing at the bottom and was told the frame looked bent. I later discovered a leak at the top corner of the door was most likely the cause and discovered black mold when I pulled the top of the curtain back which was stuck to the wall. I sent pictures of this and another black mold area in the kitchen ceiling to Pristine Properties and never got a response. I've waited over a week before I sent you this review to see if they would contact me and offer anything for our less that pleasant stay (spent several hours helping plumber dry the floor and hang the area rug out to dry after the new hot water heater installation leak). It was obvious that no one from Pristine Properties was doing any QC followup of the cleaning crew or the property itself.

The best beach spot!
We absolutely loved our stay at Discovery! My fiancé and our two dogs stayed here and were more than comfortable. The unit was immaculately clean and had everything you could possibly need. Kitchen well stocked and there was even a crock pot. The bed, pillows, and sheets were of a nice hotel quality. My only draw back was that the balcony was open in the end to access the stairs. But the unit came with a baby gate so there was no issue with the dogs sitting outside with us. The area only has one row of houses and there was ample space to either side so it felt very uncrowded. 12/10 would stay here again!!

Anniversary Get Away
A perfect location and property for some down time together. The beach and view are amazing and very quiet. It was our first visit to this area of FL and totally enjoyed it!! Thanks for sharing your property.

very poor way of doing business...
Be honest and upfront with customers. There is MAJOR construction going on in the condo unit we are renting. This means LOUD saws, hammers, and stomping feet! Pristine new these units were heavily damaged from hurricane Michael but did nothing to let us know this at time of booking. There is construction debris EVERYWHERE here and boards with nails in all the driveways! Did they offer us a partial refund or an upgrade? NO. They do not go above and beyond with their customers. Stay away from any and all Pristine Properties! We will tell all our friends, families, and co-workers about the construction zone condo we rented. We even killed a large cockroach!

Ronald thank you for your feedback regarding this property and its surroundings. While we do answer 100% of the questions we're asked I'm sorry to hear that you weren't able to find anything good about the property or area to report. Our entire community from Mexico Beach to Cape San Blas is still working on making a full recovery from Hurricane Michael in October 2018 and construction is ongoing everywhere. While the area has made a huge amount of progress it is still ongoing. The great news is the beaches are as beautiful as ever! Less properties available to rent means less people around and on the beach. A silver lining we like to see when dealing with the aftermath of a category 5 hurricane.
