“My first impression was WOW!!!! Everything was just as is in the pictures. This was a very family friendly accommodation. There were games, toys, and the kid's bathroom had the whale over the spout. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, dishes, utensils, silverware and more. There was a whole spice drawer. Amazing. Loved that the Keurig was a coffee pot and could use pods too. There was grill, which we used. Plenty of firewood to use the outdoor firepit, which we did, twice and……

“Experience this charming and cozy retreat! The staff here are exceptionally helpful and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable. We especially appreciated the free use of kayaks and canoes, which added a delightful touch to our visit.”

“Thank you Vish, it was a lovely place to spend our weekend. I highly recommend your place.”

“The room was dirty; it hadn't been cleaned. Also, the description didn't match reality.”

“I really enjoyed my getaway night here. The room was like a small apartment, very neat and clean; a few small details could be adjusted, but they were minor and I had great communication with the staff when I needed to find out how to work something. Comfy bed as well, and there’s a beautiful walk right next to the lake, which is only a few steps to get to. I would definitely come again.”

“The property was beautiful and the accommodation's were top notch . I know treehouse is the name of the property but perhaps a heads up of the 62 steps to get there may be a courtesy to the guests … the steps were a bit of a challenge with the luggage and supplies but once you were settled in it was a beautiful setting .tye neighbors dogs were quite vocal most of the last night we were there as well. All in all it was a beautiful get away with a very thoughtful host as far as the little……

“The place is very spacious and clean. We enjoyed the stay. The only thing is that there's no privacy screen for the washroom window and the washroom is facing the road. Location is good, 30 mins from the Algonquin provincial park West gate and 20 mins from Huntsville. Overall a good experience staying here.”

“The setting was beautiful, a shimming lake and a burst of colour from autumn foliage. Unfortunately the cottage was lacking. Shower door won’t stay closed, not a dresser, shelf, or hook for clothing, oven not clean, rack in backwards and fell out, extreme floor slanting. But, the most upsetting was the Lack of Communication with the host and the agency, The Muskoka Waterfront Retreat. We wanted a 3 night reservation, but mistakenly entered 2. When we received confirmation, and realized our……

“The on site staff were accommodating. When we arrived the fireplace wasn’t working and the room had two portable heaters. We fell into an extreme cold (-36 feels like -44) alert and requested a third portable heater. The staff offered to replace our fireplace while we went out for breakfast. This helped manage the cold for the remainder of the stay.”
