“Great last minute stay - great value look forward to visiting again ”

“The property itself is very nice, spotless, and feels luxurious throughout. Everything is extremely well maintained, including the rooms, beds, bathrooms, and outdoor areas. It is also dog-friendly, which was a big plus. The location is excellent, with a lovely beach view and easy access for walks, including taking a dog out, making it a very pleasant place to stay overall. However, some aspects of the hosting experience felt uncomfortable and inconsistent. There was an undertone that the owner……

“Drumee Lodge is a beautiful property, in a picturesque location, close to the Mourne Mountains. The property is stunning and the hosts are fantastic. They were both so welcoming and made our stay so special, including leaving chocolates and a birthday card, in our room. Highly recommended to stay. We will stay again ”

“Being silly hack, travel can sometimes be very disappointing and dangerous for me. I was very impressed with a breakfast that was available. Lots of healthy gluten-free options that actually taste good fresh fruit, oats, boiled eggs, fresh juice. This location is very close to Tollymore Forest Park. I chose to walk the 700 m to the gate and along the way I passed a sheep farm. There were baby lambs all over the place and the owner invited me to go pet them. It was a wonderful experience and I……

“We had a lovely time. Relaxation at its best in a quiet tranquil setting with lovely staff and wholesome food.”

“Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again.”

“very unorganized at check in. did not have available the room that was originally booked. gave us grief at check out for having a 3rd person, although room was booked as a quad family room from the start and notified them at check in, while we were standing at desk that we had 3 adults not 2. requested room to be cleaned on day 2 and no one came to clean. budget hotel, with unknowledgable staff, different rules daily with different staff. wouldn't stay again. ”
