“The staff were amazing & we enjoyed our large breakfast & as well as a delicious carvery meal on Weds evening (I believe this runs during the summer in addition to Sundays). The room had everything we needed & was nicely decorated. The reason I've had to put 3 stars is because the room was insanely hot despite the weather cooling outside (it was raining in the morning but the room was pushing 30 degrees) so we struggled to sleep. There was a fan but it didn't do a lot & really there needs to be……

“on arrival, the property stunk and had bad odour of mice or rats but we did not see any, we found nail clipping on the floor and looked not well cleaned. On the first evening, people arrived at the property and showed us that they also booked the same property and questioned our booking, was awkward and embarcing to my wife and kids. Day 3 while we sat eating we found mice running in the middle of the reception. we left the next morning, one day early. Total miss selling.”

“It's an old building that needs a bit of updating however it's in an excellent location and the staff were super helpful and friendly.”

“Excellent holiday and a great property. Can’t fault this place however a vehicle is a must as the bus service at St Mawgan as been suspended but no detriment to ourselves”

“Not the pictures used to advertise the property. Hair and old guests stuff left behind, odd smell and generally not a nice stay, also right by a building site so lights were everywhere”

“Loved it. The whole town was wonderful. Can’t wait to return, and surf here again.”

“Close to the beach and good service!”

“Brilliant location and home. Faultless and played its part in a brilliant holiday”
