“Room was tidied every day, most of the staff were very helpful. There is plenty of parking round back of hotel if you can get a spot.. we were lucky. Personally I think you should get breakfast or lunch or evening meal in with the price otherwise it gets a bit expensive”

“We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. ”

“Overall we had a lovely stay. We were informed that there was no provision for an evening meal on either evening (we stayed 2 nights) that was fine, as we were happy to drive to nearby Haverfordwest. We were a little disappointed that on Saturday evening the bar was closed to residents due to a private function. It would have been nice to have some prior warning, as a couple of drinks at the bar would have been a nice end to the evening. That bring said the breakfast was excellent and our room……

“I have lost count of how often i have stayed at The Mariner's.....well into double figures over the past 18 months alone. As a former native of Haverfordwest, i know the town exceptionally well. This is how I know how central The Mariner's location is. The staff here are outstanding. The rooms generous, clean & comfortable. The place oozes a unique charm (it's 400 years old). “Just home from a overnight stay here. 4 double rooms was booked and couldn't of been happier. Was greatest by a very friendly girl who explained everything we needed to know. We unpacked and got changed after a long day motorcycling. Headed down for food which was outstanding complete with desert. After we went into the bar for a few games of pool and drinks. All the staff and locals was super friendly. The rooms complete with tea/coffee facilities freeview tv double bed shower over bath. 👌……
