Stunning hotel in Porto Azzurro

Absolutely stunning hotel! Beautiful and clean, easy walking access to restaurants and bars. Easy parking and ability to go and explore the island. Staff was so accommodating and our room was absolutely incredible. Thank you to the staff!

This is a beautiful property and from the moment we got there the staff were extremely attentive and helpful. We did not have a car but were able to walk into the beautiful town of Porto Azzurro from the hotel - you just need to be prepared for some moderate hills.

Beautiful location. Reception clerk helpful in showing us the path to town and a dinner recommendation. View from room amazing. The only negative is the spa hot tub was not hot or clean. The Turkish spa was great.

Wunderschöne Aussicht auf Porto Azzurro und die ganze Bucht von unserer Suite mit Whirlpool. Die Suite war sauber und grosszügig angelegt. Der Pool angenehm warm und ebenfalls sauber. Was wir vermissten, waren separate Badetücher im Zimmer und ein Lift. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, die Auswahl gross und der Speiseraum sehr schön angelegt. Es gab die Möglichkeit auf der Terrasse oder drinnen zu essen. Dank Panoramafenstern hatte man auch drinnen einen herrlichen Blick aufs Meer. Der Chef de Service war so, wie man es sich wünscht und tat alles, damit sich die Gäste wohlfühlen. Der Kaffe wurde serviert und deshalb musste man manchmal etwas Geduld haben, v.a. wenn viele Gäste gleichzeitig zum Frühstück kamen. Dafür war er sehr gut. Die Menüauswahl bei Abendessen war nicht gross, aber die Gerichte waren gut und die Portionen ok. Zum Fleisch hätte ich mir eine grössere Portion Beilagen gewünscht. Dafür war noch Platz für ein Dessert ;) Porto Azzurro selber war von Hotel aus zu Fuss erreichbar (ca. 7 Min). Der Weg entlang der Strasse war uns etwas zu riskant (v.a. abends/nachts), da es kein Trottoir gab. Der Weg entlang des Hangs und durch ein Privatgelände war angenehmer, aber steiler und für nicht trittsichere Personen eher nicht zu empfehlen. Es gibt Parkmöglichkeiten fürs Auto und der dafür zuständige Mitarbeiter war immer sehr freundlich, ebenso wie das Reinigungspersonal.

Das Hotel liegt in bester Lage im , für uns, schönsten Ort auf Elba. Es sind zu wenige, sehr enge Parkplätze vorhanden und das parken an der Straße sehr schlecht. Die Tür zum Restaurant schlägt so laut zu dass man dadurch um den Schlaf gebracht werden kann. Das Essen im Hotel ist sehr frisch und sehr gut zubereitet. Das Personal ist durchweg professionell und die Meisten auch freundlich. Hilfsbereit sind Alle. Das kleine Spa ist sehr sauber und wird durch Termine auf max 6 Personen limitiert was uns gut gefallen hat. Die Sauberkeit ist vorbildlich. Das umfangreiche Buffet und die Möglichkeit Eierspeisen und frisch gepressten Orangensaft aus der Küche zu bekommen haben das Frühstück zu einem tollen Start in den Morgen gemacht. Zusammenfassend trotz kleiner Kritikpunkte 5 Sterne wert.

Sehr freundliche empfang, wir sind leider 1 tag später angekommt de fähre war cancellet, trozt de verspätung wir haben unsere gebuchte nächte können ausnützen, und wir haben eine economy zimmer gebucht und wir haben eine grössere zimmer mit balcon überkommt es was sehr freundliche von de hôtel. De frühstück war hervorragend.

Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet alles was man benötigt und der Service währenddessen ist hercorragend. Die Lage des Hotels ist toll und der Ausblick aus den Zimmern traumhaft. Das Hotel ist jedoch leider in die Jahre grkommem und bedarf einer Renovation. Unser Zimmer war mittelmässig gross, der Balkon klein, das Bad sehr klein und wenig konfortabel. Wir mussten uns am WC vorbei schlängeln um in die Dusche zu kommen. Das Zimmer wurde uns als Comfortzimmer verrechnet. Auch wenn wir Ende Juli Hauptsaison haben, so ist dieser Preis keinesfalls gerechtfertigt.

Location incantevole, camere standard un po’ piccole ma carine con una vista sul mare molto bella. Colazione buonissima, albergo in ottime condizioni anche se il bagno non è nuovissimo . Personale gentilissimo, sia i camerieri che alla reception per non parlare dell’addetto al parcheggio
