The location of this property is excellent--close to the center of town yet somewhat further up the road, with a beautiful view of the town. Staff are kind and helpful and the restaurant is great.

We had a good stay at the hotel. The staff were excellent, rooms clean and comfortable. We did however have two issues. We were very cold, both in the room and in the restaurant area. The heating was not anywhere near adequate for the hotel in all areas. We visited in late December, where temperatures outside were near freezing. We did ask for an extra heater for our room which we got straight away and definitely made a difference. However sitting in the restaurant morning and evening was very unpleasant and way too cold. Also, the quality of food was excellent but the way breakfast was served was not enjoyable. They served a small amount of fruit, yogurt and croissants on the table, there was no choice, you have what they give you, then you choose hot breakfast from menu, which was good quality. There should be an area in the restaurant to choose what you want to start breakfast with. We didn’t enjoy the way breakfast was served.

I visited Skye as part of a small tour group and booked my own accommodations at The Bosville. I’m so glad I did! The Bosville is a cozy, boutique hotel right in the heart of Portree, making it walkable to all the stores, restaurants, etc. I had a “cozy double” room with a gorgeous view of Portree Harbor. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m on Skye.

Amazing Hotel

Visiting the city of couple of days to explore the amazing skye The hotel was super lovely, in the middle of Portree very near to everything The room is very cozy with amazing view and the bed is exceptional

I loved staying here for a few nights while visiting Isle of Skye. It's on a cute little port that is easily accessible and a local hub while traveling over the area. It has close hiking options, a few shops/restaurants around it and is very close to Isle of Skye Candle Co. that has a restaurant, shop and movie theatre if you need something to do during the evening.

Location is excellent but need to look for parking as limited. Room was really nicely decorated which made it feel really homely. Restaurant serves excellent food and it’s close to their restaurant and services. Portree itself it’s absolutely beautiful and I could not recommend it enough.

The property and the rooms are immaculate with lots of thoughtful treats and toiletries. The tasting room and restaurant below are also not to be missed and you should definitely have a meal there at least once! Would come again.
