Superior experience with Uig
The recidense experience was far beyond my expectation. Room was very spacious with almost all necessary facility ready, wifi was superior unlike some other hotels in isle of skye. Moreover, the hotel has a unique view of sunset. Imagine how’s the feeling when u gasp a glass of whisky looking at the sun dips into the sea right out side the lounge. Food generally ok.

Good value for money!
Fantastic view of the ocean, dark enough for stargazing. A bit out of the way so you'd need a car. Staff friendly and nice. Restaurant serves good fish and chips. Room very basic with no fridge and unstable wifi, so don't expect luxury here.

If, like myself, you only drink water with dinner, don't joke with the waitstaff about too many options. She soured after that. A minor hiccup in an otherwise excellent stay.

The Uig hotel was so warm and welcoming. It is obvious the hotel takes pride in providing a clean and comfortable stay. The room we stayed in was a little tired and could use a refresh, but it served its purpose. The bathroom has been updated and the shower was great! The hotel is a great location for exploring the Isle of Skye. We dined at the hotel for both dinner and breakfast. Service and food were both excellent. We would definitely recommend this spot to others and return if given the opportunity.

Gorgeous views across the bay! Good dinner menu for dinner. Convenient for sightseeing the Isle of Skye. Negative? Too hard and steep a walk up to second story lodge room for an older person, but the view was worth it!

Absolutely gorgeous property and a beautiful part of the Isle of skye. We truely did not want to leave. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. The room was beautiful and comfy. Beauty and nature surround this property making our stay relaxing. The room we stayed at is spacious. We were greeted with majestic view of the lake, sunset and the delight of the night sky. Great location with a lot of tourist attraction which all can be seen within 2 or 3 days of your stay. One of the greatest and nicest staffs I have ever met. It's nice to see how they have a chat with literally everyone about literally anything. Room was clean and cosy. Can't wait to come back!

An Excellent Comfortable Hotel!
Everything about my stay was excellent. I received a warm welcome and indeed every member of staff I met is a credit to the hotel. The food was very good with excellent choices, a great choice of ales in the bar and a really seriously good breakfast! My single room was very well appointed, modern, warm and comfortable with everything working as it should with an excellent view of the harbour from the front of the hotel. Yes really! I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and will certainly be returning myself within the next 12 months. I found their attention to detail First Class. Highly Recommended.
