A cheap alternative to pricier hotels in Norfolk. Walking distance to and restaurants in downtown Portsmouth.

After having a horrible checkin/non stay at another motel in the area, the front desk staff went down and checked the room and made sure all locks worked properly. The facility does appear to have a lot of families living there full time, but every one I spoke with that lived there, was great and welcoming.

Room was not really ok for me. Although it was a nonsmoking room, it was a bit suffocating. Noisy outside during sleeping hours, the shower head was leaking when I turn on the bottom faucet, towels and sheets were not changed.

I booked this hotel for the pool and breakfast. There was no breakfast, just coffee and juice and the pool had missing tiles. The room had peeling paint, smoke odor, rusted ac unit and potentially mold in the bathroom.

There were gnats in the room. Also the bedding had cigarette burns in it. There was a drunken fight outside at 3 am. The staff was helpful though.

We purposely chose this hotel because of the "free breakfast". All they had was juice and coffee. We spent the difference between what we would have spent on another local accommodation on grabbing a quick breakfast at the Wawa down the street. In the end, we're essentially out $60 due to not actually having a breakfast.

The room was very dirty. Stains in the bed and cigarette burns on pillows and sheets. Floor and walls filthy! I requested a refund and the front desk worker said he had to get it approved by management. He did refund the fees and I’m currently waiting g fo full refund. Never again 😌

I will not recommend this place to anyone, and they shouldn't be in business. The rooms had cockroaches, and the bedding sheets were so dirty. I had to walk out of there with my family and get another hotel in the middle of the night.

There was a ceiling tile missing above the shower and the pipe dropped all night. The air conditioner cover was broken and did not fit in the a/c. There were 2 pillows only for the king bed and cigarette burns in all the furniture surfaces. The room was listed as nonsmoking but the door indicated smoking and the room had a smoke odor.

Property was poorly run and staff were generally unhelpful. I was assigned a smoking room even though I paid for non-smoking, Checked out a day early because I just couldn't stay there another night.
