A beautiful family trip

Spectacular property outside of Positano. We loved being far from the crowds, even if we had to take the bus. The property is so lovingly maintained by the family, and it was perfect for our family group. Anna Maria is amazing, and has put such care and art into the place. We loved our stay. Thank you, Anna Maria! And thank you, Giuseppe!

Stunning views and home!

This home is unbelievable! The grounds are huge and every detail is perfect. The host is very helpful! His mother cooked 2 nights for us and it was delicious! Anna Maria, Franco and Carmen created wonder meals for us using vegetables from the plentiful garden below the house. We ate outside one night and enjoyed the wonderful patio. We purchased groceries and ate at least one meal a day at the house. The only drawback is the location of the home. There are 2 restaurants that are walkable, but no groceries. Joseph runs a taxi service and can readily provide rides, but my suggestion is to figure out the bus system before you go. There is a stop right outside the house called the SITA and we used it regularly. The bus you want requires tickets to be purchased before getting on, which can only be bought at Tobacco stores in Positano or other towns along the Amalfi coast. My suggestion is to stop on your way to the house to buy some bus tickets. You literally can walk out of the gate of the house and walk across the street to wait for the bus, which is so convenient. We also did a lot of walking but it isn't for the faint of heart. You are walking along a very narrow winding road, along with all the cars and buses.

Memorable stay in an picture perfect villa with all the amenities and more!

It was our first time in Positano and it was an amazing and memorable time! The Villa was beautiful, in pristine condition, in a gorgeous setting, with so many wonderful amenities! It was especially hot while we were there, and we enjoyed swimming in the beautiful pool with all the lovely surroundings of olive and lemon trees and views of the sea! Joseph was very helpful and quickly answered any questions we had. I would highly recommend staying at Villa de Rosa! It exceeded our expectations.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay. Great communication from the host. He responded immediately with any requests. The house is in a beautiful setting. The kitchen was well equipped. Wifi is spotty but not a big issue for a few days. I would say that is probably normal for the area. I would recommend a taxi for getting in and out of town. Joseph is happy to set that up for you and is probably easier than walking or public transport. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Peaceful Stay at Villa De Rosa

The villa was a perfect escape for the 4 of us staying for a week. It was a family and friends retreat - 2 coming from Rome and 2 from Sorrento meeting up at the Villa. Joseph was very accommodating every time we called him for car service, pizza delivery, etc. The house is so easy to settle in and the views takes your breath away, we actually used the kitchen and it works very well. We would come back every day and relax outside sometimes till far after the sun would go down. There is a very nice restaurant up the road that is walkable - otherwise if you do not have a car you must call for a taxi - Joseph can arrange and the drivers were wonderful. Yes, it is a little out of town but after the hustle and bustle of the crowds it is nice to come back to the beauty and quite. Joseph also arranged for us to take a day trip to Amalfi and Ravello - which was a nice escape. I would recommend this villa for friends and family - The beds are wonderful as is the shower pressure. There is a washing machine - with a drying rack and after leaving your clothes outside to dry - you will love the smell of fresh dried clothes. It's not many steps down from the street - compared to other villas and you overlook the lemon grove. We all enjoyed our stay and would love to return on day, Thank you Joseph for being such a help in making our visit perfect.

A Quiet and Luxurious Retreat

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The gardens are lovely and we had the pleasure of having the owner cook for us using many of the herbs available in them! It was so nice to escape the bustle of Positano and come back to this quiet retreat. My only suggestion would be to have some welcome food available since it is hard to go to town specially having just arrived. All in all it was a wonderful stay and we enjoyed meeting and socializing with such a charming family!

Perfect and enchanting Villa in Positano

A truly gorgeous location with gardens, balconies and and sea views to die for. The location on the edge of Positano town is perfect...near enough to everything but just out of the frantic bustle. All of the rooms have sea views from their balconies and the property is fully equipped for both indoor and outdoor dining. Joseph was a terrific help and advisor on places to go and on who could ensure we were taken care of en route. Our thanks also to Signora Ferraro for taking us through the glorious gardens of fruit vegetables and flowers The 6 of us will remember this vacation and lovely Villa de Rosa forever and we highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have the best there is in Positano

Exceeded our expectations. We have stayed in many places. This one ranks #1!

Christian was amazing. Offering many options, gave us a great tour of the Amalfi Coast, responded immediately to calls, texts when needed. Property was gorgeous with all amenities, an incredible view from upper and lower terraces, beds extremely comfortable, super clean throughout.

Fantastic villa

This was a spectacular spot, recently renovated villa that was large, beautiful, and modern. The family renting the space was lovely. Pros: -the place is brand new and gorgeous -the location just outside of Positano was perfect for us - far enough away to be quiet and secluded but close enough to drive in to explore the town. This may not be ideal for everybody as public transportation (buses) are crowded and not too easy to figure out - most require advanced tickets and won't take money on the bus. Driving worked well for us (except for parking situation, see below) but may not for everybody. If you want truly easy access to town including groceries, walk to stores and beach, etc I would suggest staying in town rather than in this area. -beautiful outdoor common space on the patio to enjoy the weather and the view -modern fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, dishwasher. Cooked a few meals and found everything we needed. -roomy bedrooms -nice bathrooms, showers had excellent water pressure Cons: -one of the reasons we rented this villa was the large property and gardens. They have unfortunately closed the gardens off to renters who are now limited to the hardscaped patio. We were not informed of this change prior to arrival and it was very disappointing -beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable, the worst we had in Italy. Almost (but not quite) to the point where we couldn't sleep -no private parking space; if you drive, you have to get lucky and find a spot on the narrow, busy, winding road which was a significant challenge at times. I specifically asked about parking prior to rental and the reply that the villa had parking was misleading. -washing machine but no dryer (had to hang clothing out to dry which seems to be pretty standard in Italy)

Very well done

Villa is beautiful! Very well built, thought out and furnished. It's relatively new so bathrooms and showers are spacious and have great pressure and hot water. Two restaurants very close that are both good so no need to drive to dinner. Joseph was extremely helpful and responsive and also runs a tour business so he can take care of driving tours for you. All in all, would highly recommend.

Gorgeous property in a fantastic location!

If you are looking for a place to explore the Amalfi coast, this is a perfect spot for you. Located very close to Positano but outside of the hustle & bustle (5-10 minute cab ride), this is an oasis with an amazing outdoor area, overlooking the sea. Gorgeously appointed, it was ideal for 3 couples on our recent trip to the area. We were able to walk down to a beach club at the base of our cliff and walk to a restaurant nearby for dinner; but otherwise, plan on taking cabs in/out of the nearby towns. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back someday!

Bella and Magnifico!!

We can't thank Anna Maria enough for her hospitality and attention to detail from the beginning. Villa de Rosa is a beautiful oasis just minutes from Positano! It has been beautifully renovated with a very clean and open floor plan. Great for larger groups and families! The kitchen is modern and the blue & white are so contemporary for a villa! Modern appliances and the best Italian coffee ever! The outdoor space is what makes this Villa special, overlooking the beautiful ocean and gardens below with pomegranate and lime trees. Great open floor plan, beautiful bedrooms, outdoor shower and lots of entertaining areas. Our favorite after a long day of walking and dinner in Positano was wine on the porch, and of course coffee each morning, it doesn't get better than this. We didn't mind being minutes from Positano because the paradise you come home to each night makes it worth it! The pictures don't do Villa de Rosa justice, it is stunning and beautiful, so peaceful! Once you figure the taxi stands out in Positano traveling to and from there is easy. Anna Maria's family also has a Limousine service and can coordinate any days trips to Ravello or Amalfi, where ever you wish. My recommendation is to set it up prior to getting to the Villa.The villa has a washer and dryer, wifi, and hairdryers; they even have safes in every bedroom. We can't say enough about the hospitality of Anna Maria, Joseph and Christiano. You made our stay in Positano unforgettable, and we hope to return one day. This truly is an oasis, spa like villa with the beautiful views of the ocean and peaceful location. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone traveling to Positano, you will not regret it! The villa was lovely both inside and out! Newly renovated and exceeded our expectations!

Property owners Joseph and family were so very helpful arranging boat trip to Capri, restaurant recommendations and transportation. Aldo his father was so very charming and proud to share Positano with us. I would highly recommend this beautiful villa! The view was spectacular!

Wonderful Villa. Superb position and amazing views!

Great stay in a great location!

Villa is brand new and even better, than on photos. Good for staying with friends or family. Villa owners are very helpful, they organised for us great dinner on villa and a boat trip through Amalfi coast. Definitely recommend!
