「Lovely house and property with a huge yard. Very clean!! It was easy to check in and out. There is no WiFi and the service is spotty but it wasn’t much of an issue for us. Our dogs loved the yard. We grilled and had a fire each night and swam in the lake every day (we walked down a bit to get to the more swim-able part of the beach). Only thing that would improve this place for us would be a fenced in area of the yard for our pips—then it would be perfect!」

「The house was spotless when we arrived. Unlike many VRBO properties the house had all matching quality pots and pans dishes silverware and anything else you need in a kitchen not garage sale miss match whatever. Perfectly white blankets and bedsheets. The beachfront location was perfect with a grassy yard and sandy beach. The only complaint is no grill. Hope to stay there again 」

「We spent our anniversary trip at this quaint little cottage and fell in love almost immediately. The deck overlooking the River is just about as peaceful as it gets. We seen so much wild life and spent a majority of our time here. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed.The livingroom was comfy at night to wind down. We absolutely would come back in the future! Kari was a dream to communicate with as well. 」

「We had a great stay at this property. Everything was as advertised. Close to town but far enough out to get the country feeling. We had fun exploring the UP (kayaking Pictured Rocks, hiking in the national forest, kitch-iti-kipi, Fayette historical park, and visiting countless waterfalls). 「We absolutely loved this quaint cottage. There were so many thoughtful details such as small flashlights on the bedside tables, q-tips in the bathroom, plenty of dishes and cookware, a picnic table to enjoy meals outside and a beautiful view. We felt so comfortable and the property was quiet which we loved. Communication was excellent with the hosts. I would recommend this stay to anyone. We are hoping to come back this fall! 」

「Our family of 8 adults enjoyed our stay in this lovely home conveniently located for the things we wanted to do (day trips to Kitchi-ti-kipee, Menominee). We also enjoyed Leigh's Wine garden downtown, Sand Point lighthouse, multiple outings to the beach in Gladstone, and Barn on the Bay for ice cream. We were visited by Mama deer and two fawns in the backyard. The house had plenty of space for cooking meals, storing gear for 8 people, and parking for two vehicles in a nice, quiet neighborhood.」
