Incredibilmente bella!

Dopo un lungo viaggio siamo stati accolti calorosamente da Monica. La nostra vita nella torre è stata per noi un viaggio nel passato - con i comfort moderni. Siamo rimasti affascinati da ciò che l'amore, l'immaginazione e l'attenzione ai dettagli della torre di Monica e della sua famiglia sono stati restaurati e arredati. Un sogno! Indimenticabile anche la piscina sul tetto! I nostri padroni di casa - Monica e la sua famiglia - erano molto cordiali e gentili. Le conversazioni sono state molto stimolanti per me: un po 'di italiano, un po' di tedesco e un po 'di più l'inglese. Torneremo !!!

„Wir haben unseren runden Geburtstag im Juni für 2 Wochen hier verbracht und die einmalige Atmosphäre des Torre hat es zum Highlight gemacht. Die Beschreibung und die Bilder passen zu 100% und die sehr netten Vermieter haben uns neben vielen nützlichen Ausflugtipps mehrmals mit selbstgemachten köstlichen regionalen Leckereien überrascht. Sehr aufmerksam war die selbst überbrachte Geburtstagstorte. Die Dachterasse mit dem Panoramablick und Whirlpool ist Wellness pur. Der Torre selbst ist wunderschön und liebevoll restauriert und eingerichtet und damit mit Wohlfühlfaktor 1 zu bewerten. Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen und alles entsprach unseren Vorstellungen. Wir können den Torre mehr als nur weiterempfehlen!!! Mille Grazie Monica e Leonardo“

Go Back in Time and Enjoy Medieval Living at its Best!

Ok, it's not exactly medieval living... It's better! The Medieval family who built the castle that once was attached to this tower didn't have indoor plumbing. This gem has all the modern conveniences (including indoor plumbing, a kitchen, 1 1/2 bathrooms, heating and air conditioning) while being tucked away in a quaint little commune (Pratovecchio-Stia). The small town in which it is located has a grocery store and local shopping a very short walk away. Monica surprised us with homemade pasta on our first day and the restaurants in town are fantastic. The beds are comfortable and the living area makes you feel like you've gone back to a simpler time, especially when you choose to light it up with candles instead of always using the overhead lighting. That said, the "castle" can be little drafty in the colder season, so bring a sweater if you plan on booking this property even into March. Also, Pratovecchio is rural, so Tuscan sightseeing requires some travel. Monica suggested taking the train to Arezzo and renting a car from there. We arrived on a Sunday and could only find a rental agency in Florence. The trip over the mountain between Florence and Pratovecchio is spectacular but a bit daunting. Take that into consideration when planning your trip to this area.

Perfekter Urlaub! Tolle Gastgeber!

Klasse Urlaub! Maklerin war über aus nett und hilfsbereit! Versorgte uns zwischendurch mit Lasagne und weiteren Gastgeschenken! Der Turm ist wahrhaft eine besondere Immobilie! Die Lage ist perfekt! Möglichkeiten ohne Ende zu besichtigen, ins toskanische Leben einzutauchen oder einfach nur zu wandern.... Wir waren sogar zu viert, 2 Erwachsene und zwei großen Kindern im Turm- und der Platz reichte vollkommen aus! Highlight sind dann die Abende auf der Terrasse gewesen! Ein toller Aussengrill, der SPA - einfach gigantisch! Wir können dieses Reisepaket nur empfehlen!

"L’habitation, qui est in...

"L’habitation, qui est indépendante, a vraiment du charme. Il s’agit d’une tour médiévale très bien restaurée avec des matériaux de qualité et des détails choisis avec beaucoup de goût : évier et lavabos taillés dans un bloc de marbre, parquets en bois massif… tout cela respecte la belle architecture de la tour. Il y a plusieurs niveaux : celui de la chambre avec sa salle de bain, le salon et la cuisine, une mezzanine sur laquelle se trouve un divan qui peut servir de lit d’appoint ainsi qu’une autre salle de bain et puis enfin, la terrasse tout en haut avec sa cuisine d’été. De la terrasse, à quarante mètres de hauteur, la vue est superbe sur le village de Pratovecchio et sur le château de Romena que l’on distingue sur la crête. Au pied de la tour coule l’Arno qui est à cet endroit un gros torrent de montagne dans lequel nous nous sommes baignés. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cette région du Casentino qui est très agréable l’été, un peu à l’écart des grands circuits touristiques ; voici l’occasion de découvrir une autre Toscane très authentique. La propriétaire Monica est vraiment charmante et nous a offert à plusieurs reprises des pâtes fraiches maison et des spécialités locales (confiture de coing, gâteaux…) qu’elle est venue déposer à l’entrée de la tour. La seule petite réserve concerne la piscine que nous pensions pouvoir utiliser. Elle ne fait pas partie de la location. Toutefois, Monica nous a offert la possibilité de nous baigner une fois dans une magnifique piscine qui fait partie d’une autre location. Veramente un posto bellissimo e tranquillo. Stupendo per mesi estivi. "

Aangename gastvrouw die heel bereidwillig is. Het verblijf in een toren was bijzonder met de eigenheden van een toren: hoge toegangstrap en binnenin nog meer trappen, eerder donkere ruimtes maar prachtig uitzicht op Pratovecchio en de langslopende Arno.Spijtig dat er geen zwembad was. Een aanrader voor kort verblijf.

"Il posto è assolutamente...

"Il posto è assolutamente fantastico e il lavoro fatto per restaurare la torre è stato eccezionale. Dotato di ogni comfort, ma senza perdere il gusto rustico di vivere in una vecchia torre medievale. Consigliatissimo a chi voglia fare un periodo di relax lontano dal caos della città a due passi da un parco naturale. La cordialità e l''ospitalità dei proprietari sono state davvero di prim''ordine, ci torneremo sicuramente."

"What a lovely place ! What a big surprise when you arrive in this house ! It was built one thousand year ago, equipments are very good and charming, you can have diner on the top of the house under the sky. Owners are so friendly and always available for any questions, queries and advices. Pratovecchio is so quiet and pretty, and give you a lot of possibilities to visit Tuscana : Sienna, Firenze.... When you leave the house, you just think about the next vacations there. The place to be ! Congratulations Monica and Leonardo, all is perfect,tutto Ok ! Difficile de repartir de cet endroit magique. A notre arrivée nous sommes tombés sous le charme de cette maison construite il a mille ans. En fait une tour médiévale, parfaitement équipée, bénéficiant d''une terrasse avec cuisine d''été, transats et parasol. Tout ici est fait pour passer un séjour idéal en couple. Les propriétaires Monica et Leonardo sont vraiment très très sympas et attentionnés. Cette location n''est disponible que depuis le mois d''avril et mérite vraiment de se laisser séduire. Pratovecchio est un bourg très calme et agréable, d''où la visite de l''est de la Toscane est facile. On peut se rendre à Sienne, Florence et autres magnifiques villages médiévaux. Une seule envie y retourner très vite. Avis aux amateurs de belles pierres. 5/5 est le minimum pour cet endroit Merci pour tout Monica et Leonardo."
