The positives: the common areas in the hotel were really nice, the location was great, it was dog friendly and they have some tables in the lobby you can sit with your dog and the restaurant will serve you from them. Negatives- while it was cool they would let you sit in the lobby with your dog, the service was extremely slow and the food was bad. the room was so tiny, too small for two people and a dog. The toilet was placed right in front of the bathroom door where you had one foot or so to get in the bathroom between the door and toilet. The building is historic this the walls and ceilings are thin, you can hear everything, it was so noisy and our dog and us barely slept all night. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was such an uncomfortable experience that I booked a different hotel for the second night I was supposed to stay here and just ate the cost. Wouldn't stay here again.

This hotel was wonderful. We only stayed for one night and would have liked to have stayed longer. We definitely will be coming here again. The location is in downtown right by Whiskey Row. Very convenient for the downtown area and shopping. Close to many restaurants within walking distance and they also have a few onsite as well. The courthouse was still decorated with Christmas lights and it was fun to go and walk there and take some pictures. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a working original elevator that the staff operate any time you need it. The room and bathroom were clean. Plenty of clean linens and the shower shampoo/conditioner and body wash were a very nice lavender scent. Do yourself a favor and book this historic hotel. It won’t disappoint.
