「A quaint old fashioned inn. Amenities a bit dated but all functioning. Bath with jets was a plus. Loved the provision of bottled water and little biscuits. Breakfast was a lovely continental affair. Only downside was the winding staircases that made taking luggage up and down difficult.」
「Very nice cottage with beautiful gardens. The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was great. The owner provided tea, coffee and milk, which was a very nice touch as we arrived very late. Would definitely stay again.」
「This is a little gem in the heart of the beautiful Herefordshire countryside.
Simon and Vanessa are fantastic people who care about their clients as do their charming staff.
Food is freshly prepared and is very good.
Will definitely be staying again」
「The room was clean and fresh with tea and coffee making facilities plus complimentary water which was very welcome as it was a hot day when we arrived. There is no air conditioning in the bedrooms but it was possible to open the window.
The breakfast choice wasn't huge but perfectly adequate with bread and cereals and a freshly cooked hot course of our choice.
Overall a really comfortable stay with a very friendly and helpful host.」
「I don't normally write reviews, but this place was so good, I just wanted to say so.
The room was spacious and very good.
The staff were friendly and helpful
We ate in the pub, a typical pub menu, but the food was fresh, home-cooked and excellent.
Really good value for money.
If you want to be in this area, then this is the place to stay.」
「Lovely stay at Church House. Owner was delightful, attentive and had a lovely welcoming charm. Breakfast was delicious. Tea and cake served on arrival was a welcome treat.」
「It’s a pleasant experience to stay in this B & B. The host Tom is very friendly and helpful. Nicely decorated bedroom with everything I need. There’s a kettle and a few types of tea inside the room, and the breakfast is more than good enough for me. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Knighton. It’s just a small town and so it’s within walking distance to all main attractions.」
「Needed a place close to Shropshire to visit rellys - my wife found this online and the photos and reviews were stellar.
The longest, twistiest single lane country road with flocks of bantams took 15 minutes to reach the lodge from theain A road. Crazy!
Fortunately, no one came the other direction so only the wildlife provided the hazards.
The lodge is a converted barn/stables/something old and quirky.
It has wifi and very polite staff. Nod to Winter and Tomasz who made our first night with...
