  • The Waupoos cottage is our largest cottage that offers 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, a private deck and breathtaking harbour views.

    This cottage comfortably sleeps 8 guests and includes a fully renovated kitchen, beautiful furnishings, air conditioning and is pet friendly.

    This cottage comfortably sleeps 8 guests and includes a fully renovated kitchen, beautiful furnishings, air conditioning and is pet friendly.
    In order to maintain a comfortable and safe environment for everyone at the cottages, we kindly request you refrain from inviting additional visitors during your stay. Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 8 AM. Thank you for your cooperation in creating an enjoyable experience for all.

1st stay at the Birch. Everything was perfect, easy arrival and departure. Extremely clean and well equipped cottage. We stayed in the Waupoos cottage with our small dog. The 2nd level terrace was great to hang out on. The view of the water is very nice, the variety of birds to observe was amazing. I initially was concerned about the Tim Horton’s and gas station directly across but we could not hear any noise at all. Although the kitchen was equipped to make coffee we opted to go to Tim’s because our stay was just 2 nights. It was very convenient to have across the street! I can’t say enough about how smooth our stay at the Birch was. Would highly recommend.

Cozy and quiet

We had a great time! We went with 4 adults and 4 kids ages 5 and 2. The location was perfect. About a 15 minute was from the amazing kids park (best park we've ever been too) and walking distance from all the great restaurants and boutiques. We stayed out on the dock for most days just enjoying the scenery and then going to the great restaurants at night.Sandbanks beach was about a 20 minute drive away and having their complimentary parking pass was a great perk! Tim Hortons, Corner store and gas station are right across the street. Extremely convenient for morning coffee and quick breakfast. They had some kids plates, bowls, cups, and utensils which was great to have on hand for our kids. Communication with Samantha was great! They have a great itinerary and ideas of what to do in the area. We would definitely come back again!

We had an excellent stay at The Birch! The access to the Lake and the lounge on the waterfront was such a nice place to have a drink or a coffee in the morning. The hosts had prepared a book with all the recommendations in PEC. It was so useful. The beds were very comfortable and all the cottage was clean and welcoming.
