Excellent location and view

We had a fantastic vacation in this unit. The sunrise and sunset views from the bluff in front of the unit are unobstructed. The unit was plenty spacious for me, my wife, our 9 and 10 year old daughters and their grandmother. There was plenty of bedding, beach towels, and snorkel gear. We could never find a WiFi password but which wasn’t all that important to us though. This was a fantastic, safe, affordable unit and we hope to be back someday!

Paradise

Sealodge is located in a beautiful setting- Mountain Views out the front and the ocean from the back. Very easy to get down to hanalei bay and the grocery store. The condo was very clean and comfortable. 10/10- would stay here again, but for longer next time!

Unbelievable views!

Great condo with remarkable views, super close to everything and easy for walking to beaches and walking through the neighborhoods. Would have loved to stay longer, the condo is exactly as listed. We’ll gladly go back and stay longer!

Great Princeville condo

Great condo with beautiful views! Location Is just a small 5-minute drive away to Hanalei Bay. Fit my family comfortably. I have two little kiddos that slept in the loft upstairs. The only thing that was concerning was my 2 year old with access to the stairs but we managed. Communication with management was quick and easy. Thank you again for the hospitality.

Good Value

We enjoyed our stay in Princeville. The pictures show the property's best side. However, none of the bedrooms have doors for privacy. The unit included nice extras like a cooler and beach chairs. I noticed there were beach toys and snorkel gear as well. The community is a little run down, and parking availability is challenging at night. We arrived late at night, and the unit was warm and stuffy. We opened the windows, and the fans rotated in the correct direction. My daughter loved the little alcove bed!

Extremely nice property management team, super responsive and receptive.

Beautiful place, and just what we needed for a work trip. Easy booking process, extremely prompt communication, and even though we booked last- minute, we had everything we needed in our email inbox within an hour. Great place and great staff.

Amazing view of paradise

Beautiful location. Great view. Amazing secluded beach a short hike away. Condo is a bit dated and no AC, but that just adds to the experience.

Best views

Great views. Loved this condo. Didn’t like the check out procedures regarding they only wash two towels per bathroom or charge a laundry fee. Condo could use a little tlc, broken blinds would be an easy fix. But besides that the price was great for what we got and would stay again.

Great view

Enjoyed our stay, we’re not in the unit many hours. Place was clean and sufficient for our needs. Several updates would make it more estheticslly pleasing. Bathrooms were dated and unit showed its ware. Please watch toes on shins on master bed frame. I’ll be bruised for days, but not any more than what I got hiking the Napoli coast No curtains in front room where there was one bed.

We keep coming back!

We keep coming back to this unit. (C7) For a reason, it's perfect. From the secluded location to the whales and dolphins. It is just the perfect place to relax. We have stayed at 4 different units at sealodge. But as I said this Is our favorite unit. Thank you Jeff and Rebekah

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always our time on Kauai and Sea Lodge. We especially liked the ceiling fan over the master bed. Unfortunately, this bed, like others in this configuration, have a wood frame outside the mattress which is great for barking one's shin. The property needed maintenance that should have been done before we arrived: several window blinds were non-functional, some windows didn't open for cross breeze and lights had burned out. You don't have much control over the complex swimming pool being replastered. The landscaping, as always, is beautiful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view from this condominium is amazing. There is no air-conditioning, but it is not really necessary because the breezes are more than sufficient to cool off the rooms. The design is cute and the amenities are quite sufficient and useful. There is a waterfall and beach just below the condo, but you will have to hike about ten minutes to get to it. Just follow the "Beach Trail", go around the left side of the small water tower and follow the trail to the water. There is a very nice beach to the left and really nice waterfall to the right. Neither are in view when you reach the water, so keep going!On another note, the Kauai Kahuna Vacation Rentals staff is very proactive and supportive should you have any needs. I will definitely be booking with them in the future!

Reviewer Comments: We continue to enjoy the great views and lovely gardens at Sea Lodge. The property improvements we suggested last year were made and appreciated. However, the unit directly below ours was being remodeled, so we heard and felt banging and heard the whine of power tools daily, despite the management company noting it was prohibited on Sundays and holidays. Our water and power was cut off more than once, sometimes without us being notified. The property management company protected the property owner below us, Kauai Kahuna made their money on the reservation, but didn't warn us of the impending construction. The C7 owners were probably unaware of this situation. We usually spend some of our days reading and resting, but that was not undisturbed this year. Also, the message was lost that the dishwasher didn't work, so we hand washed our dishes the 2 weeks we were there. This was our first real disappointment with our Sea Lodge experiences over the last 15-20 years. We will likely go back next year, but expect to not be so mistreated.

Dated property with several issues

This was a very dated property. Things felt old and dingy. But more than that, there were several problems with the condo: - The microwave didn't work. Called property manager and they said they couldn't do anything about it during our stay. - One of the window screens was broken. I called the property manager on Saturday and he said he'd send someone right away. I said we'd be out most of the day at the beach and he said that was fine, but no one came and we weren't notified. I had to call again when we got back to let him know no one came and that's when he told me that the maintenance person who came didn't have the key. And that he wouldn't be able to come by until two more days later (no one came before we left to fix the screen). - There was a bad smell coming from the kitchen. We scrubbed and cleaned to see if that would help it to go away, but it didn't.

View amazing! Condo disappointing

The view of the ocean from this condo is the best part of the condo!! The condo was okay but it was definitely not what we were expecting based on the pictures. It could use some repairs and updating. The furniture is worn and outdated but still functional. The frig needs to be thoroughly cleaned ! We saw roaches during our stay, in the kitchen and then in the master closet. Called and asked if maintenance could come and spray and were told no they spray on a schedule. The trade winds spoken of that cool off the condo were coming from the South and the East and all of the main windows and patio doors faced north. It was EXTREMELY HOT even with every fan in the condo on it was very uncomfortable. We tried to stay out of the condo as early as possible and not come back until 8 or 9 pm it would cool down a bit then. Sure wish we could have experienced those trade winds we kept hearing about. It appeared that the last guest left a gift in the condo it was on a plate on the book shelf it was a dead rotting hermit crab or some sort of shelled creature that had died and had maggots crawling all over it! Talk about disgusting! It smelled terrible! The lock on the patio door is still broken but there is a stick you put on the track to keep from Opening. The patio door easily comes off the track and needs to be repaired. The fan in the living room works but the top of it is broken with a large piece missing and wires exposed. The box fan is filthy and we were concerned about the dust and dirt trapped inside blowing out on us. Maintence mowed the first 2 days we were there and grass clippings and dirt blew in our window and were all over our bed 2 days in a row. Very fine grass clippings also covered the pool as well. I ended up breaking out from the grass clippings being on the bed. When we arrived it was dark and there were no lights on in the condo and when we were stumbling around with all of our luggage trying to find a switch or a lamp we discovered all the lamps were unplugged. I assume to save on electricity but when you have a guest checking in, they should at least plug in the lamp closest to the door if not leave at least a nightlight or something on. We were so hot and uncomfortable we ended up leaving 3 days early and booking a resort that had a.c. Overall we would not stay there again and were disappointed in the accommodations.

Perfect!

Everything about this property was perfect. We saw whales everyday off our deck, the beach chairs and beach towels were so nice to have, and the property manager Ted was sooo nice and taught us so much about the area! We will be back!

Beautiful location with expansive ocean views

This was a lovely condo for a family of 4 in Kauai. Everything we needed was in the unit and it was super easy to check in. Furniture was comfortable, lanai small but enough space for 4 to watch whales from a distance. The pool had available chairs when we wanted to use it. Restaurants/shopping nearby. The walk to the private beach took about 15 min and there were rocks to climb up/down towards the end but a great beach was at the end (turtles swimming close to shore too)All in all would definitely recommend this condo
