Quiet spot in Princeville

This property was comfortable, well equipped, clean, and spacious. It sits on the edge of a golf course, high on a cliff next to the coast so you’ll have great views from the outside space and living area. It’s at the end of a side road in Princeville so it’s all pretty quiet and serene. We even saw an Albatross feeding her baby, who was safely nested in a shrub right next to where we parked. We didn’t swim while we were there, but there’s a nice little pool right next to this building. This is an upstairs condo but you enter the unit on the ground floor where there’s a small entryway with a little closet (containing some beach items for use) then the stairs to go to the second floor. We used the washer and dryer daily and had no issues. We didn’t cook while we were there but it certainly seems that everything we would have needed was there in the kitchen. We spent time in the condo mostly in the late evenings/nights/mornings and the rest of our time was out in Hanalei or the surrounding area. We would stay here again!

I would like to say that my family had the most wonderful time at this rental, but I have to send a warning to other renters of this property. While the home itself is nice enough, should you require help from the management team, you will be disappointed. Last week we returned to see a note from management stating our water would be off from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm the next day. No problem. We planned our day around this outage. We returned from the beach at 4.00 pm but still no water and the workers that had been in the area most of the week had left. We had dinner plans that evening, so we just held tight until 5.00 pm before making phone calls, leaving messages, and sending emails asking for a simple update on when the water would be back. No one answered our calls. It wasn't until 6.30 pm before water was restored, but by then we had to cancel our evening plans. Perhaps this doesn't sound like a big deal to you, but when you spend thousands of dollars for a week long vacation, every moment of your trip is important, so we missed out on a reservation we had made well in advance of our trip. Had it not been for our neighbor who happened to be the owner of their condo, I'm sure water would not have come back on until the following day because at no point did our personal management representative, or anyone else we called/emailed respond.

Slightly disappointing

The location and views are beautiful. There is an incredible secluded beach a short hike away. The condo seemed clean at first but has a roach and ant problem. There were multiple huge roaches and we started noticing dead bugs everywhere. There were also ants all over the place. I reported it to the owner and they said to spray them. I didn’t come on this expensive trip to hunt and kill roaches.

Peaceful Sunrise

Very comfortable and relaxing. Close to many nice beaches and other attractions. Well equipped. We especially appreciated the beach chairs, boogie boards, and the extra hat came in handy when we lost one of ours.

Fantastic views from the balcony patio. I also love the dark night sky showing the Milky Way. Property was clean and well furnished. We used the Tommy Bahama chairs and beach umbrella.

Excellent home away from home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Even equipped with beach equipment! The washer/dryer being in the condo was nice too. And with the windows open with screens in place the ocean breeze made the no AC very comfortable.

This condo is stunning! The decor is so fun and beautiful art everywhere on the walls and surfaces. The view is breathtaking. Lovely lania soaks it all in for morning coffee and evening wine. Very clean and comfortable. The bed felt great and the kitchen is well supplied. Mahalo! We hope to return. Aloha

Great location and view

We are so glad we rented this condo. It was very close to all the hiking and activities we wanted to do, also lots of restaurants in Princeville and Hanalei. The condo was nice and roomy and had a great view across a golf course to the ocean. Also had fun watching the variety of tropical birds flying around.

All great - one hiccup, but would definitely recommend this property.

Great location; well maintained; beautiful sunrise view; very clean; quiet location; very walkable neighborhood; short walk to nearby trail to beach area; 1.5 mile walk to Queen's Bath (which is better than driving & trying to find parking). Close to restaurants and shopping. Our one hiccup was getting into the property the first night. Instructions had not been updated to match new lock on door. Additionally, the outside light fixture for the front door was broken, which made seeing the lock at night difficult. We tried calling the emergency contact number, but no answer & no returned call. We finally figured out the correct combination and got in. Frustration exacerbated by our late arrival because of airline delays. As it turned out, the new lock is not a lockbox, but is a combination entry, which is much better than a lockbox - no need to keep up with a key. Talking with the property manager the next day, she explained that the broken outside light fixture is the responsibility of the condo management group & she said she'd put in a request for the repair. She was also very apologetic for not having provided us with updated entry instructions - apparently the lock change was very recent. Once we got beyond the frustration of not being able to get in, the rest of the stay was terrific!

HAWAIIAN CHARM

Great view with trade winds to cool things down. Very comfortable condo and very clean. Comfortable furniture and some nice art on walls. Very quiet. Could use a little maintenance on sliding doors and windows.

Great view. Quiet. Comfortable. Close to beaches and shopping.

Very quiet, very clean. Nice location. The unit was close to all of the activities we did. Close to Hanalei. Convenient to the shopping center. Unit could use some TLC, But it satisfied our needs and worked well for us. We were happy we found this unit. We would stay here again.
