「Our family visited for a long weekend. We have 3 kids and brought 2 dogs and it was just perfect. The trail just out back was an unexpected surprise! We wore the pups out multiple times a day. We also took a fun and unexpected helicopter ride because the house is next to a helicopter tour operation. And being so close to the helicopter tours wasn’t at all off-putting. 「This property is small but fine for two people who were on the go most of the time. It could feel a little cramped if there were more people or as a place to stay for an extended period during the day. It is a few miles from Custer State Park and Mount Rushmore, so it was in a good spot for our adventures, and easy walking distance to the downtown area. It offered good, basic accommodations without any frills. We have no complaints.」

「We stayed at the cabin and listened to the wind in the pine trees over looking the canyon. We saw turkey, and other birds, the cabin is well equipped to just stay there and enjoy, and the views are amazing. Shout out to Nina, the Thai food is the best. Highly recommend this cabin and already thinking how nice it would be in the winter.」

「We were in Custer for a graduation and the house was a wonderful option for our family. Plenty of space for people and a separate "wing" for our older parents so they didn't have to hear the louder activity when they went to bed in the evening. My mother uses a rollator walker and there was plenty of room to maneuver. We will definitely stay again... hoping for next year at graduation again 🙂」

「Overall we had a great time at this place. It was clean and super cool. Views from the hot tub/bar were sweet. Property itself as a whole looked well kept. We had the whole place to ourselves basically so that was great as well. Outdoor shower was awesome. 「Overall we had a great stay. The property was a great location to Custar, Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, and Hot Springs. The furniture and beds were cute and comfortable. There were great views and elk were seen early in the morning. It does state linens are provided but there is only one towel per person so if you need more you may want to bring your own.
