"Nice, pet friendly good location"

"I love Bar-Mel! It has been around for many years, so don't expect fancy, but the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The staff is awesome. A young man named Mo helped me with the tv remote when I couldn't find the volume button. I must have had a senior moment! He was so kind and even gave me a big hug!"

"The property here is absolutely beautiful. From the entryway foyer to the back deck overlooking the water towards the sunset, the home is incredibly relaxing. The only issue I would be able to try and find would be the parking. As this is a duplex the driveway is shared and not noted in the home overview. You can fit a few vehicles but to fit a few boats is like fitting a puzzle together, to not block the driveway. Overall I would absolutely stay here again, I just would come with my family for a nice relaxing time instead of booking the home for an event that we have 3 Bass boats needing charging daily. This home is INCREDIBLE and Tom is an excellent host and very responsive! Thank you Tim for letting us stay at your home for our event!"

"House is in great shape and well taken care of and like new. It has everything you need to stay comfortably and it’s pet friendly although you couldn’t tell pets have been there like some pet friendly places. The view of the lake is awesome and the dock is perfect for tying up the boat. We enjoyed our stay and would rent this place anytime we are staying at Lake Greenwood. The owners are quick to respond to any questions you may have. Thanks for letting us rent it for the week!"

"Step out of franchise and discover a 1910 brick built structure that has all the charm and details of an Abbeville historical treasure. The clean room included a quilt covered bed that was comfortable, and the room included refrigerator and microwave. The best part was continental breakfast on a lovely veranda. The site is its original center of downtown, so don’t expect gardens…but I was sad to leave the over-stuffed wicker chair and resume my trip home."
