Lastly some alerting reminder: 1) there is……

Obligé de prendre une chambre dans un hotel à coté pour le 1er soir. Fini par obtenir un contact Hotels.com qui remet les choses en place. “This is a small bed and breakfast establishment right in the centre of Pavia and they have tried to think of everything for the convenience of their guests. The side road grille gate is a bit of a surprise, but very secure. Once in, on a hot day I was immediately offered a drink. The stairs are steep, but my bag was taken up to and brought down from the room. The room is very pleasant, nowhere near as over the top as the pictures suggest, there are tea and coffee-making facilities,……

“I used prepaid service, but when checking in, staff asked me to pay by credit card or what. I said I have already paid, the staff said that’s just booked, not prepaid. Later I requested confirmation by calling, and finally he said I am right.
