「A national rail strike in Italy on the day we were supposed to arrive upended all our plans, resulting in our arriving very late. The hotel accommodated our late arrival so we were able to check in with no problems. Beautiful hotel, excellent breakfast」

「We chose Pistoia as the base for a two-day visit to Florence. This plan worked great. Hosts Carlo and Lucia have a quirky compound located a short walk from the train station. We parked our rental car for the duration, and used the regional train service (frequent and cheap) to get to Florence. (Ask Carlo about his motorcycle collection.) 「I gestori sono molto, molto gentili. La struttura e' molto bella: E' davvero come un antico casolare, con tanto di travi in legna a vista, ma tutto nuovo, arredato con gusto e confortevole. Molto pulito. Uniche pecche: Adatto quasi solo a chi sia in auto.... Bagno condiviso con altri ospiti (il che non e' la fine del mondo, ma sarebbe bene che lo specificassero sul sito)」

「Love the room. It has a beautiful view and it's got everything we wanted. One thing is that because it's the ground floor, we can hear (and sometimes smell) the bathroom odor but very seldom and we would definitely stay again despite this.」

It was absolutely spotless, extremely well maintained and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was beautifully presented, very fresh, with everything you could wish for. Honestly have put on a few pounds. Short walk to main square which has plenty of bars and restaurants. Loved it. 」
