The Space:
The detached vacation home “Kranichglück” is a solid log house made of Finnish polar pine in ecological construction. The house offers an extremely healthy living environment on a 508 m² recreational plot, everything you need for a relaxing vacation close to nature.
The jewel on entering the house is the typical Darß front door. Lots of light and light wood determine the cozy atmosphere inside. The house is ideal for 2-4 people.
In the open-plan living area you will find a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy dining area with direct access to the terrace and an inviting couch area with Smart TV. On the first floor is the bathroom with separate WC and sauna, which has direct access to the outdoor area. This is the perfect place to relax. There is a bedroom with a small terrace on the first floor and another bedroom and a cozy gallery on the upper floor.
The vacation home is located in the state-approved resort of Pruchten and is situated at the “Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft” National Park, at the gates of the Fischland-Darss-Zingst peninsula. The small natural beach Pruchten, on the Bodden, is 900 m away. It is not for nothing that the house is called “Kranichglück”. In spring and fall, the cranes fly directly over the vacation home so that you can experience this natural spectacle up close. The region is the largest crane resting place in Europe. But nature is on offer all year round. The house is adjacent to a wild meadow and a small pine forest. With a bit of luck, you can also observe wild animals in the immediate vicinity.
The Neighborhood:
The Bodden beach and the kite spot are only 900 m away. The Naturcamp Pruchten (mini market, restaurants and bicycle rental), the harbor with boat rental, the Pruchten bakery with its extremely tasty offerings, a small ice cream parlor and a water sports center are all within walking distance.
The adjacent Vineta town of Barth to the south-east offers maritime, cultural and tourist diversity. Numerous supermarkets can be reached here in less than 10 minutes by car.
The idyllic fishing villages of Bodstedt (with its harbor and Zeesen boats) and Fuhlendorf border Pruchten to the west and are also within walking distance. The municipality of Pruchten and its district of Bresewitz are part of the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park and are directly connected to Zingst and Darß via the Meiningen Bridge. Their miles of white beaches, the picturesque wild coastal forest and the neighboring town of Pruchten, the sophisticated Baltic Sea spa resort of Zingst, can be reached in less than 10 minutes by car (or even better: by bike). Other Baltic seaside resorts such as Prerow and Ahrenshoop are also easily accessible by e-bike, which you can also hire directly in Pruchten.
