"Our stay started with a major issue. The morning after our late arrival (1:30 AM), we discovered our room carpet was completely soaked due to a ceiling leak. This caused water damage to my suitcase, including shoes, clothing, and personal items, as well as our 5-year-old daughter’s backpack with books and toys. We estimate about $1,000 in damage.
Although we were moved to another room and given one night compensation, this was agreed to before we understood the full extent of the damage. When I later asked about additional help and laundry support, the process was frustrating and required multiple trips to the front desk. Communication between managers was inconsistent and we did not receive much empathy during the situation. The only apology we received was from a security guard helping with the report.
We were also initially charged for both nights and had to return to have the reimbursement corrected. Additionally, both hot tubs were out of service.
The location is great, but the way this situation was handled took time away from our family vacation and did not meet the level of service we expected from a Hilton property.
There are plenty of hotels in the area that will treat you better. If you have a choice, stay somewhere else. "
