If you like swimming and sunbathing on holiday, there are numerous bays and natural beaches as well as a range of entertainment options, including a diving centre and several bars, bistros and restaurants along the promenade. Numerous events take place in the small town of Faana, which is also the departure harbour for the national park on the Brijuni Islands. The centre of the ancient city of Pula is around 7 kilometres away and offers a full entertainment programme. Pula can look back on a rich history, the traces of which are visible at every turn. Visit the monuments and treasures from Roman, Venetian and Byzantine times through to Habsburg and modern influences. In the city you can visit the old amphitheatre and other historical sights. In the warmer months, this city offers a wide range of events and exhibitions from art and culture, music concerts to film festivals.
