"The Jungalow was such a wonderful little piece of heaven in the rainforest at the base of the volcano. It was very clean and communication was very responsive.We enjoyed the location as there were no neighbors, at least you couldn't see any. Our stay was very enjoyable!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Volcano Forest Inn. The large room, access to the full kitchen/common area, the quiet location surrounded by the rainforest, and the private deck allowed us to enjoy a relaxing visit. The inn has a great location just outside the national park. We were able to stop at several places before they became busy. There was a good amount of information on the area and a tv with current info on the volcano. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable. Overall, it was a great visit that I strongly recommend. "

"What a sweet little spot. We were volcano watching and did not want to have to drive back to Kona, so we spotted this place at a very reasonable price, booked it and saved ourselves the 2 hour schlep. It was clean, quiet (well except for the coqui frogs - but just had to close the window) , cozy and had a supremely comfortable bed. Best of all, it was 8 minutes from the park. I would not hesitate to stay here again on our next volcano expedition. Thanks Lokahi Lodge! "
