“The ad/discription of this hotel was very different than the reality of it. They did not have the water slide open even though we came at the end of June and said that it wasn't going to be open until July. No where did it state that and I had two little kids with me. It also says they have a swimming pool, which I was informed once i got there is actually a pond that has apparently been closed for the last 5 years. I feel like what was advertised was very misleading and did not paint a honest……

“We loved that it was a historical property, which was very well maintained. The rooms are exceptionally large and comfortable and the property was very quiet. We had the Rita Hayworth room which provided a lovely view of the ocean, though the room was situated in the middle of the mansion, which looked over the roof of the pillared entrance to the front door. It was the only possible drawback that we can think of to the room, and we did not really notice it too much because we were looking at……

“Very friendly and accommodating staff, appears to be family run, couldn’t be better. No restaurant or free breakfast but lots close by. Not a hotel but more of a motel with all rooms easily accessible, two story walk up. I would use them again for sure. Lobby and rooms have recently been renovated, heated outdoor pool and patio area are a plus.”

“The hotel was clean and the front desk and dining staff were very helpful. However, most of the hotel is original, dating back to the 90's. The second time I stayed there in a month, I was upgraded to a renovated room, so that was nicer. Note: There are no Smart TV's, only cable available, no USB outlets, ( they have extensions cords in several outlets) and the pillows were chippy foam. If you like that kind of pillow, or aren't fussy, then you'll be ok. There is a very old school coffee……
