Stunning Mountain and Lake Views

Kiwi family bach, fully furnished 2 story home with uninterupted stunning view of Mountains and Lake.

High speed unlimited internet. Air-conditioning/heat pump and log burner. Smart TV, can access your own Netflix account..

Walk across the road to the lake shore and walking track to Queenstown and Frankton. Bus stop 1 min walk away; 5 mins to Queenstown, 2 mins to Frankton.
1/2 an hour drive to Remarkables and Coronet ski fields.
Two bedroom plus loft (3) bedrooms with King bed, Queen bed (in loft) 2 bed Bunk and 2 separate beds in large upstairs bedroom. Three toilets and two bathrooms with showers. Large clawfoot bath with full running hot and cold water on deck with stunning views.
Open plan downstairs with kitchen/lounge/dining area. Second small lounge area with ladder to loft bed. Fabulous local art on walls. Lots of heaters for winter, 2 heatpumps and Logburner with wood supplied.
Home is well set up with large plasma TV/DVD, For gaming there are two further TVs/DVDs in upstairs bedroom and smaller lounge. WiFi sound system. Childrens cot, highchair, pushchair and toys all available.
Kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, oven and cook top stove, microwave etc.
Deck access from all doors, including French doors from main lounge. Wooden decks are childproof have large wooden table and chairs with great views and large gas barbque.

Access to second story by carpeted stairs.
Access to Loft bed by Wooden ladder (Not for the faint hearted - not suitable for young children or the elderly). This area is separated from main lounge by lockable door.

All round fantastic place to stay with the family. Nice and close to the airport, yet close enough to Queenstown central to enjoy all it has to offer. View of the Remarkables is amazing from all rooms, and the bath on the deck. Basic pantry items came in handy and the fireplace was easy to use. Whole house was nice and toasty all through the night. Oh, and there’s a great boat shed cafe and bakery across the road for your morning coffee !

What a view!

As most of our activities were on the Frankton side of Queenstown the location was perfect. It is a well equipped house with plenty of room for three adults. We enjoyed the great view of the harbour and the mountains.

stunning views

Loved our stay- house was comfortable for our family of 5, 2 adults and 3 teenagers- enough space and room for us all. We enjoyed using the bbq, playing the board games and communication from the host was detailed and prompt. The traffic was fairly constant and noisy- coming up to the Waitangi holiday, however once windows closed, they blocked out the noise very well. Convenient to Queenstown where we hung out and side tripped to Arrowtown. The views of the lake and mountains were just beautiful, and it was super convenient and close to the airport for our trip home to Australia. The hosts were very kind, allowing us early entry and a later check out. Totally recommend.

Very disappointing experience

Very disappointed as it spoiled our vacation. The property was very dirty when checked in which completely spoiled our first day of vacation and messed up all plans. Had to make multiple call to VRBO and property manager to get this resolved. Wasted time and money as it was intentional call. Also VRBO support is no useful as sent so many emails and no response. Very poor customer service

Fabulous holiday home with an amazing deck

The home was very comfortable with everything in it. The beds were great and comfy as were the couches in the living room. The deck was our favourite place after the busy days. Wonderful views from there, as from in the house. We didn't use the loft - those stairs were a bit scary. But there were heaps of beds without using it. We would recommend the home very highly.

I would live here if I could.

Had 8 of us here for the Queenstown Marathon. Excellent location. Bus stop for both directions on Frankton Road ~100m away. Altitude Brewery a very short walk away, best beer and pizza in town - great card loading. Amazing unobstructed views of the Remarkables. Got to watch planes abort their landings over and over on the Friday before the race from the balcony. Off street parking. Fun loft bedroom - however this was incredibly painful to descend after a Marathon, but that's my own fault... Thanks to the hosts!

The facilities were nice and had everything for our family of 6. The views were amazing. The driveway was a little steeper but we knew this beforehand and was still able to get our passenger van up carefully.
