The Rain Forest resort was very conveniently located to Quinault trails and restaurant. The view of the lake more than made up for the dated furnishings and bedding. The resort offered convenience and quiet. Check in and out were convenient and the small grocery/gift shop was nice.

This was an older, well-maintained motel on the shore of Lake Quinault. The lake view was lovely, the staff was friendly and helpful, and it was really hiker friendly -- some great trails in the Quinault rainforest were accessible right from the property. The Salmon House restaurant was right across the street and the food was excellent.

Though the property is a bit dated, it was clean. The view from our lakefront room was spectacular. The staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely consider staying at this property again.

The property grounds are amazing and the view is priceless. Our 2 bedroom cabin faced the lake. The cabins are rustic and rudimentary. This is not for the luxury traveler. This stay is for the adventure explorer.

The best part of this property was the area. It was on Lake Quinalt and in the back of the property was a trail that connected to the Olympic National forest trails. It was also across from the Largest Sitka spruce tree. The rooms were very outdated… with a 1960’s or 1970’s vibe. New carpet and beddings would be helpful. Hair dryers are kept in the general store. My family personally liked it but it would be surprising if you were expecting a more updated room.we liked the layout of our room… 2 separate bedrooms and a bathroom.

Parking free and good. No refrigerator or microwave in rooms. The office was only open from 9a-6p when we were there in mid May. The only half and half (real cream) was available in the office not in the guest room with the coffee maker. Room was kind of small but clean and comfortable. Nice view of the lake!

The location, situated on a lakefront, was excellent. I assume there were boats that could've been rented had the weather been nicer. The Staff was both pleasant and helpful. Parking was free and convenient. There were no amenities to speak of. No breakfast available. A General Store attached to the Office and the Salmon House Restaurant were the only food options close by in the Resort complex. This was one of the more expensive accommodations I found in Olympic National Park; perhaps because of the limited options available.
