The condos at Kulakane were everything we were hoping for. Even the studio was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our family of three. The unit was well equipped (although there’s no AC, which was not a necessity for us anyways), clean and the whole property matched everything we expected. The lawn was well maintained and our toddler loved walking around the garden and going to the pool! For families with small children, keep in mind that there’s no fence or gate around the pool, so be sure to be mindful of lanai doors if staying on ground level. Being steps away from the beach and the turtles was the highlight of our stay, for sure. Would definitely recommend Kulakane and will be our preferred stay in Maui from now on.

The ocean view from inside or out was exactly what I wanted. Sunsets and rainbows! Fall asleep to the sound of ocean waves. Take a short walk for food options or coffee. Short drive to shopping. Management quick in responding to questions.

The condo it’s self needs some updating....throw rug needs replacing, the chest of drawers in bedroom need cleaning or replaced (they have a mildew smell and gets on clothes) I brought air fresheners this time however it didn’t help much 😩 your clothes will start stinking . Pillows are flat . Just needs some TLC by the owners !!

Perfect spot!

We stayed in Unit 108 at the Kulakane in Lahaina for 7 nights. You can't beat the view and location. And, all the folks we met were so friendly and welcoming. Many repeat visitors. We made new friends. The property managers were just wonderful! The condo was comfortable, but a bit dated. Perhaps a deep cleaning might be in order. Would stay at the Kulakane again, but would try another unit. Overall, a terrific stay.

60th Birthday in Paradise

Laid back atmosphere which made you feel at home. Loved the main level walk-out to the pool. The Conch ceremony at sundown was especially fun for us. Numerous whales as we watched from our Lanai. I would love to return.

The location, staff, condo were all wonderful. The pool and outside area need work, but we believe they are addressing those issues. (Pool is WAY too small for all the visitors who want to use it.). Great service, friendly fact, a great game of 'donating' takes place when one set of visitors leaves - they donate non perishables to the next! All in all, we highly recommend and will be back!
