"This review is a bit difficult to write. There were no communications with host, we essentially arrived at the remote property with no instructions and found the premises unlocked and we just made ourselves at home, after re-checking several times we were at the correct spot. For context, we traveled here in September - which is off season! Nearest grocery store was a 40min drive - we met our host along the winding road to the store - he greeted us with fresh eggs! "Das Haus hat gehalten, was es versprochen hat. Absolut ruhige Lage. Ausschlafen war garantiert. Wirklich sauber und im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was das Herz begehrt. Wer entspannen will, ohne auf Komfort zu verzichten wird mit diesem Haus fündig. Ganz besonders liebenswert war unsere Reinigungsdame Marina, die sich auch um den Pool gekümmert hat. Bitte bei der Buchung bedenken, dass man für Besorgungen definitiv immer einen fahrbaren Untersatz benötigt. Fußläufig wäre alles zu weit. Wir waren...

10/10 Excellent

"This an excellent resort… great location, good food, lovely staff… always helpful. … and facilities are spot on. However … two things to consider: 1) it is dog friendly, with rules to keep dogs on leads and in a separate part of the restaurant. However, it is not policed, and dog owners consistently had dogs on long leads ( I tripped over a lead!) , or some had no leads. In addition we had a neighbor leaving her barking dog… regularly… in her room. 2) the bathrooms areas are modern, but with inadequate privacy…frosted glass all round and no lock on the door. So .. space for improvement"

"A beautiful small hotel in a wonderful location. Service was excellent and the room was gorgeous and high quality in a traditional style. Our only gripe was whilst the room was serviced daily, it was just the bed partially made and nothing else. However, this didn’t bother us. On the expensive side but worth it and Rab is the most beautiful place to visit."
