The spread was not enough to keep me warm at night, so after the first night of shivering and using my two jackets on the bed to keep me warm, the friend I was visiting in Charleston lent me a thick quilt for the last three nights. The drapes match the bedspread I bought over twenty years ago….(pic included) The breakfast was adequate. 」

「We have stayed at Emeline multiple times throughout the years. Our first few stays after the opening were wonderful, the last few ones have been hit or miss. We didn't have a big issue this time but have been disappointed by the quality of the service and the cleanliness, or lack of. We booked a suite for 3 people with one king bed and one sofa bed. The sofa bed didn't have any bedding or pillows so we asked the reception to send housekeeping. When we got back to the room, the sofa bed was open...

「We chose it cuz decided to go to SC at the last minute and there weren't so much choices for us. Generally, staffs there were okay but it wasn't worth the price for a motel at such condition. Pro: Good location, you could get there easily when going down from the highway. Con: The walls were pretty thin so we could hear people next door talking clearly when it's loud enough.」

「The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring Charleston on foot—whether you’re shopping along King Street, dining at Husk or FIG, or taking photos around Rainbow Row. The rooms are spacious and clean, though the bathrooms feel slightly dated. Our room offered a great view of the bridge and the bay. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. We would gladly stay here again.」

「We did an overnight stay and had a pleasant experience. No issues or problems One observation is that please bring your own soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion bc the room we were in didn’t offer those nice options n the shower area! Overall still nice , clean stay!」
