Sink was clogged, hallway and elevator smelled cigarette. We heard running from the upstairs room. Breakfast was free but limited and no fruits at all. I requested for a blanket as my blanket smelled like cigarette and front desk told me there’s one I can pick up from the reception area and lo and behold a used comforter. I asked if it was new and he said they don’t have new ones and I clarified if they were newly washed and he said yes. But the smell of the blanket said otherwise. Just plain upset. My expectation was really low but reality was worse.

Excellent - every time
I have stayed here several times and every time is a very good experience. Especially the guy on the front desk in the mornings. He always has a smile. He’s always friendly and he’s always working.

Not bad for a one-night stay, but I wouldn’t stay
Upon arrival there were fees that was not mentioned during booking. There was an odd smell walking in hallway to the room. Hotel wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t the best. Bed was extremely uncomfortable.

I have stayed here so many times, every time I come to NC this is where I would stay. But as of now I will be looking for better. This location has gotten to be unclean, and staff wasn't friendly as normal. . There are countless hotel fees now. Even a early check in fee now. After telling me on the phone there wasn't any rooms available for early check-in, then I drive up in 15 mins and you have a clean room ready.. 150.00 cleaning fee, (isn't thats what the workers get paid for)..35.00 check-out fee, 5.00 nightly fee, (Why must I pay a nightly fee if I've paid for my room,in advance. I'm not asking for specific services. Then there is a 50.00 deposit. Now all the chargers you have to wait for 5-10 days to see if they are returned back to you.. So Quality Inn You have left me in a bad spot. On this trip I have another trip coming up in 2 wks that's paid in advance I would like a refund. Unhappy faithful customer.

Overall not bad. Recently remodeled, but the shower leaks all over the floor causing the flooring and subfloor to be soft. Nice continental breakfast. Friendly staff.

Please fix the remotes
I've stayed at this hotel 5-6 times in the last couple months. There is an issue with the TV remotes/receivers in every room I've stayed. Changing the channel on the remote is very challenging, with the channel changing 2-3 channels at a time. Pressing the number buttons doesn't work either, as a single light press results in that number being entered 3 times (e.g., pressing one, changes to 111). This is very frustrating.

Very dirty common area. Room smelled, no ice machine, sketchy area, horrible continental breakfast. Would not recommend. Also the charge a $5 service fee when holdi g incidental deposit. Never seen this non refundable charge before.
