Welcome to Retro Oaks - a charming and stylish home that will take you back to the groovy 60s! This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom ranch is located just a mile from the vibrant heart of downtown Raleigh, making it the perfect base for your city adventure.

Each bedroom at Retro Oaks is fitted with a comfortable queen bed and plush linens, ensuring a great night's sleep. You'll find luxurious towels in each of the two bathrooms, so you can freshen up in style.

Step outside to the backyard and you'll discover an urban oasis waiting for you. This fully-fenced space boasts a lounge area, a hammock, and an outdoor dining table - perfect for enjoying a home-cooked meal or sipping on a cold drink on a sunny day. When the night draws in, gather around the fire pit and grill up some burgers on the gas grill.

Inside the house, there are two living rooms, each with a 55" smart TV - so you can catch up on your favorite shows or movies. You'll also find a selection of board games to enjoy with your loved ones. And for those who love retro vibes, there's a working record player with a handful of vinyl records to enjoy, and a Polaroid camera to capture your memories in style.

Everything about this property was AMAZING!! The house was bright and spacious. Every living space was comfortable and well organized. The backyard was equipped with yard games, a fire pit (which was perfect for s'mores) and the perfect setup to enjoy coffee on the patio. The bathrooms were clean and luxurious. For those high water pressure lovers, the showers were spot on. The location of the house had us in close proximity to ALL the fun things. Just minutes from Pullen Park, NC State, Lake Johnson, restaurants, Marbles Children's Museum, the Natural Science Museum and more. If you're traveling with kiddos, John Chavis Memorial Park is right around the corner with a splash pad, adventure park and carousel. Our host was super communicative and accommodating and went the extra lengths to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We're definitely saving this property to our favorites list!

A weekend at Quilt Con

We spent most of the weekend at the convention center & the area surrounding the center. Retro Oaks was well located, so we could come & go easily. It’s a well equipped place that’s really cool & hip & was perfect for doing fiber work in the evenings. The neighborhood is quiet at night. I highly recommend it.
