「There is great attention to detail. The linens, blankets and towels were all so nice. The kitchen is well stocked with nice dishes and everything needed for cooking, all is good shape. A walk to the lake gets you exercise and there is a dock with benches and a place to swim. The view from the house is beautiful. Thank you!!」

「If you haven't seen the movie On Golden Pond, you can watch it on YouTube. You'll know exactly what to expect for decor and ambience.This was an exceptional experience! Someone posted about the screen door slamming each time you closed it. My Great Grandparents door did the same, when I didn't control it. I felt like that excited little kid, each time I heard it. We rarely went inside. The screen porch was too peaceful. The loon sounds were mesmerizing. Don't be envious that you have less sun....

「Cabin is wonderfully renovated with modern conveniences while fully embracing the "get away from it all" theme. Property was super clean and easy communication with in-town property manager. Fantastic master bedroom and perfect kitchen and sitting area for meals, table games and just disconnecting from it all. Dock with adirondack chairs was peaceful. Loon Lake is perfect by itself, but the supplied 2 kayaks made it even better. Owner is fantastic. Hope to return soon. 5 stars!!」

「I was looking for a place close to Sugarloaf to stay for two families. This place was 20 minutes from the mountain and was perfect for us with enough beds for everyone.」

「Love this area!! This is our third visit to Saddleback and will not be our last. Beautiful home, great location! I could not have asked for more. The only minor disappointment was the fireplace was not working. Not a deal breaker, but we love to come back after a cold day of skiing and warm up by a fire. Again, wasn’t a huge deal and we loved our time there. Looking forward to the next trip in the near future.」

「Very nice property. Not sure if there is access to Rangeley Lake as we could not find an access location. Property could use a Kurig type coffee machine rather than the old Mr Coffee style machine. Also most properties at this price point have basics such as a hair dryer etc. we will certainly consider this property again in the future.」

「Great location close to Kingfield but out on a back road for nice woods romps for the dogs. The kids loved the hot tub and game room. Very comfortable for our group of four adults and three kids.」

「The accommodations were perfect and the owner was very responsive. We stayed for the night before sugarloaf marathon, which was a perfect location near the sugarloaf base lodge. It seems like it would also be a perfect location for skiing in the winter. Thanks Jill!」

「We booked a beautiful 3 bedroom cabin that had everything we needed. Our stay was very quiet. We were able to go on walks. We used the pool a few times. Very friendly and helpful staff! There’s a grocery store and gas station VERY close. 」
