Koh Phayam, #Thailand 🇹🇭 is definitely not a victim of “overtourism” - at least, not yet and not during the low season. My #travel buddy and I were there for most of a week and saw maybe five or six other tourists! Very clean room. Spacious and quiet. Staff was humble and very accommodating. Great street food dinning just minutes away. If you plan to stay in Ranong (waiting for boats to the islands) I highly recommend this property for its location, price point and comfort. And breakfast was great as well.

Hello from Paradise! We have started our little Island Hopping Adventure in the South of Thailand. First stop: Koh Phayam. A quiet Island which still has a true 'in the middle of nowhere' feel to it. I can count the people around me in two hands. Never been to such an empty beach before. It's lovely! Also very pleased with our accommodation: open-air shower and a huge hammock big enough for two on our veranda. Just swam in the ocean for nearly an hour - the water temperature is divine!!
