Liked the location right on the beach to relax but not for swimming as it’s very rocky.
Rooms were tidy n serviced well but bathroom was not well maintained with very old fittings.. water flow in the shower was trickling inspite of them fixing it.
Breakfast was exact same every day no change at all. Coconut water was never available. Staff was a mix of being courteous and not too polite. Overall was ok.

We stayed in 2br garden villa. Good, clean accommodation but let down by no hot water for shower. Got slightly better after mentioning to staff but would expect better at these prices.
Resort was relaxing and had everything you need. Clean and comfortable. However if you are expecting modern 5 star it is not up to that level. Aging infrastructure that takes time to improve. You can see this is gradually being done. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Happy hour every day 4-6. Great value. Breakfast buffet was fine and had something for everyone.

We had the beach front villa No. 8, which was huge & well appointed and private. Comfy bed & pillows, decent kitchen area. The sofa could have been more comfortable and a bit larger. Buffet breakfast was nice, happy hour was relaxing, front desk staff were helpful, & other staff were so gentle and kind. Wifi a bit hit & miss, but that’s ok. I liked that the resort is on a large block of land away from the street, so very quiet. Many other resorts are close to the road, especially around the Muri area.

The pros: staff were kind and friendly, and the rooms are nice and spacious.
The cons: the room we were in got barely any sun, so the pool was always too cold to use. The insect screens were broken so we were constantly battling mosquitos in our room. The listing states two restaurants when there is only one, it says they have bikes which they don’t, they don’t actually have a shuttle, they just arrange one for you but a few days notice minimum is apparently required. They advertise snorkelling gear, but one we picked up was filled with black mould, and the flippers were torn and unable to be used. And the breakfast buffet… easily the worst I’ve ever had.
To put it simply, the price does not match the quality you will receive. The price should be halved, then the experience you get would be reasonable

The Crown Beach is a good resort. The staff are so lovely and pleasant. Vanna and the team in the spa are awesome and Jone, Maciu and Asena in the restaurant were fantastic plus it has the best value happy hour on the island!!!
The location is wonderful for the sunsets, beach and snorkeling. With a shop and a takeaway across the road for convenience and the Edgewater down the road for added amenities and the car rental place.
The pool suite was fantastic although like many properties could do with a refresh. Bed very comfy. Nice touch to have the fly spray and mozzie coils in the room. Also very appreciative of the bottle of wine and note to say congrats on our wedding.
Only a couple of downs, the restaurant food was average to ok depending what you ordered. Also trying to book stuff was difficult. Also id recommended taking your own snorkels as none of the ones they had, had the clip to attached the snorkel to the mask. Minor issues tho
Otherwise very happy with our choice of accomadation and will definately be back to stay again
