Worthy Place to Go
The price with breakfast is worth for this place. Good that they provided me late check out service this time. The room is OK even though it is not new. However, it is a bit strange I have to walk through the lobby (to the other side) to the dinning place where it is just next to my room.

Rooms were very tired, could do with an update. Our room was only serviced half the days we were there. Cracked tiles around the pool, overall just needs updating. The staff in the restaurants and bars were lovely though.

Excellent family hotel, good beaches and breakfast
Great family hotel. Lots of amenities (pools, kids club, beach, water sports) available. Breakfast buffet was very good with a good selection (live dosa, omelette stations along with a pork station too if you prefer) Hotel itself is quite old and dated - beach chairs looks worn but the hotel is clean and the service of staff make up for it. Had a lovely stay and would definitely come back!

Lovely stay at the Hilton RAK in sea-view room. The room was quiet and clean. My only gripe is the design of the bathroom, and specifically of the toilet area, which is very cramped and uncomfortable. Lovely welcoming staff and overall beautiful facilities. Pool and beach, while busy, were not crowded. Much recommended for a break!

The property is huge! Is was very quiet and relaxing. My family of 4 had a great time. We enjoyed the pools. The only thing I would recommend is maybe new TV's. Normally wouldnt care, as we are hardly in the room but this trip we were planning to get room service and just relax in bed. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. We'll definitely go back.

The hotel was excellent, in large part due to the effort and attentiveness of its staff - Heena and Negma in the Kitchen in particular. Housekeeping staff were also incredible, making a real effort to decorate the room for my wife's birthday. The amenities at the property were fantastic, with a great private beach, pools, spa and fitness facilities, and the food was varied and of good quality. Would definitely recommend to others and will be staying again!

Whilst everything about the place was very good, the review reflects the fact that it was extremely busy. We opted for a suite with an all inclusive package. The restaurant on our first night was so busy we couldn’t get a table and it was mayhem. We then opted to eat in the Italian which incurred additional costs. The following day we opted for the dine around option which was very reasonable but was quite complicated to work out the menu choices.

Cleanliness was excellent. Kyaw cleaned our Villa every day and we were very pleased. My only issue was with the main shower, the mixer seemed to not work and we didn’t have hot water in it. Hot water was present in the bath and wash basin and with the hot weather, a cool shower wasn’t the worst thing but for some one who may have needed hot water it would not have been ideal. We did raise this with the reception in day 2 but we found no improvement. It’s not clear if someone attempted to fix it and couldn’t or if they forgot. Overall it was a fantastic stay in a beautiful place. The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. We will be back for sure!

The main issue : the experience did not meet expectations & the 5 star rating on Google is very misleading. I drove an hour from my Dubai hotel to get to this “resort” to check out the RAK area. However, I am not sure that resort is the proper name for this hotel. The surrounding area of the hotel is undeveloped and appears to be in the middle of nowhere (maybe this is the less happening area of RAK?) Within the hotel : the receptionists were generally clueless, the rooms and common areas are dated, my room had a broken light which had to be fixed by maintenance, there is 0 working space (incase you need to work remotely), check-in takes too long, and the taste of food at restaurants is again - not what you would expect at a highly rated hotel. Perhaps RAK has a lower benchmark? Overall, I would have rather paid half the price and stayed in Dubai.

Due to only 2 bars for 7 pools, with one waiter at each the all inclusive package is pointless, no one serving to the pool/garden/loungers. Takes 20+ minutes to get a drink. Buffet is appalling. Garden view rooms are nice.

When I walked into the reception hall my first assaulted was my nose, the incense was wonderful and immediately put me in a good mood. Checking in was again very pleasant and was offered and upgrade for £20 per night to a see view room. I had arrived at 09.30 so couldn't check in to the room straight away, but I did manage to get to my room before the usually check in time of 15.00 which was good. The building and grounds are very spacious and Grand looking and walking through to the Salt Water Pool it looks really nice. There was no crush of sun beds around any of the pools which allows you to have your own space. The beaches were clean and had real sand (as opposed to crushed shells like you have in some Dubai hotels). I was all inclusive and the quality of the food was probably the highest I had been on an all inclusive. There are 4 al a carte restaurants and I went to the Italian one twice. Food and service here was really good and having the fixed menu is only about £8 extra cost as the drinks are included as part of the all inclusive package.The service to get a drink in the buffet restaurant was pretty bad, to the point I could eat my meal, breakfast, lunch or dinner and not be asked if I wanted anything to drink or when I had almost finished. The XO bar seems to be a law unto itself, one of the staff plays pool even when a customer is in the bar or watches videos on mobile with volume turned up. One night a customer brought his own speaker and blasted out music.

Good hotel but something very weird
There was no prayer mat in the room The washroom had a window in the room and with blinds - Family with kids find it very strange as kids might be looking from the blinds if the adult is in the washroom - not good for kids. I had "Hilton Gold membership" and the guy at the reception didn't tell me that breakfast is complimentary for me, resulting in me eating breakfast outside on my first day.

Super goed resort. We hebben er echt van genoten. Veel zwembaden. Helaas zijn de meeste niet gekoeld, dit is wel minder in de zomer als het water 32+ graden is. Gelukkig wel 2 zwembaden die gekoeld zijn. Ik persoonlijk vond het fijn dat het hotel ook achter zijn personeel staat. Lifeguards zijn echt super!

The overall stay was fabulous. There are 2 things I wish to highlight 1. The toilet seats were squeezed into the wall. It was uncomfortable to use 2. Tap in wash basin was not well aligned. Either while washing you touch the basin or water spills out of basin. The water pipe could be extended a bit for ease while using
