"This place is in a lovely location and is a decent size property with plenty of parking. The beds are really comfy and showers nice and powerful. Lovely soft sheets and towels. The kitchen is well equipped. Great views from front and back of the property too.
It would be even better if it had a more comfortable sofa, bigger TV and decent size dining room table (it's tiny for 4 people)."

"wonderful location with cozy pubs and restaurants on the doorstep. Hikes walks and bike trails a stones throw away. The cottage was beautiful and provided everything you could need to have a night in after a day of adventure."

"Great place to stay. Very clean and spacious. Bike shed is a bonus and parking near by.
On the main road but frosted front window so still feels private."

"The Cottage was ideally located for lots of adventures and had a very homely feel. The Cottage has the benefit of off road parking and because there are really good amenities in Braithwaite together with the fabulous walks from the door ranging from a Wainwright to a gentle stroll around the village we didn't use the car. We particularly enjoyed the walk up Barrow and Outerside with our dog Toby. I'm sure we will be staying again."

"Really comfortable and cosy cottage that's well equipped. Location is great - really quiet and yet very close to local facilities as well as lots of walking. Views are also lovely."

"The house is kept beautifully clean. Views from it are mind blowingly fabulous. Needs more hanging space in the bathroom and unfortunately there was a smashed window covered in cardboard in the front hall that I was not informed about. Other than that, just a beautiful home from home and an incredible team at Keswick Cottages!! If you’re thinking about booking with them…just book…right now!!"

"Lovely homely traditional cottage, beautiful bedroom and bathroom and handy conservatory room for extra space. Handy walk into Keswick ( in dry weather)"

"Super apartment in a central location. Amazing views. Fully equipped and very clean, comfortable beds also. Would definitely book again and completely recommend (unless you have a problem with stairs as on the top floor)."

"This was a truly lovely place to stay with a helpful owner. The location was great located within walking distance of several hiking trailheads, the village shop, and several restaurants. It was comfortable, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed."

"Cute cottage. Nice to be next to the river and appreciated the designated parking spot. Would have liked a few more amenities like shower gel in the bathroom and paper towels and cooking oil in the kitchen. "

"Beautiful house with absolutely stunning grounds. Lots of very accessible walking routes from the property.
Staff are fantastic and hugely welcoming "
"Brilliant location in the thick of everything, there is work to one side of the hotel. This doesn't impact on you stay at all. Its had and having lots of money spent on it and its lovely to see the current owners are bringing it back in the style it was that reflects its heritage. The art deco style is prominent throughout.
The breakfast was superb and the staff are lovely. All very friendly and seem reflect they like working within this tremendous hotel.
When we checked in, the welcome could not havd been warmer. Charlie, on reception is a brilliant "front of house man". He was extremely helpful and always met us with a smile when we saw him. Its a skill to be familiar and friendly, without being overwhelming. This lad is an asset to the place. He as humour, familiarity and a brilliant local knowledge.
All in all ot was a great stay. We will be back.

"Great location, good breakfast, comfortable room, my only complaint is I couldn’t get a good signal for their WiFi didn’t work, and I was there for work, but overall a great stay. Walking distance to many things and amenities "
"Highly recommend this hotel lovely friendly staff on-site car park has chargers for electric vehicle vehicles.
Fantastic spa and swimming pool food was superb in the two restaurants.
It’s right at the south of Lake Windermere so literally you can walk over to the ferry to do a ferry cruise to Ambleside or Bowness on Windermere Winder - it also has an aquarium and a steam train during the summer month.
We didn’t bring our dog, but it is a dog friendly Hotel you really enjoyed our stay and already planning on bringing the dog for another trip
"
"Underwhelming. This is a very ordinary hotel, despite the hot tubs, pool and spa. The decor is vile, all dull browns with turquoise. In the “Troutbeck” room there is a nasty trip hazard into the bathroom. A stubbed toe was annoying but a cracked skull would have been more so. Tip: if it’s not fixed put a rolled up hand towel down to fill the gap and catch your attention.
Pillows were like sandbags and need immediate replacement. The mattress had an uncomfortable lump and was likely in need of replacement too.
The hot tub was good, as was the jacuzzi bath. The fridge was handy, and the chairs comfortable enough for a short while. Free parking on site.
The building is a maze of corridors and stairs. Regrettably the lift was out of order for the first 24 hours or so. As a walking stick user this was less than ideal.
Breakfast was okay but not special. My choice of evening meal, “roast of the day”, was almost inedible. Vegetable selection poor. The wait staff were pleasant but scruffy, in contrast to the smart and highly exuberant maitre’d. It is far from being a gourmet restaurant and there are other places to eat."
"The Daffodil Hotel is a really decent hotel, we came for our little honeymoon. Room was very clean, reception staff very welcoming and the beds are comfortable. We loved the view from our window of the lake and hills. Gorgeous location!
Only issues was we had no fridge in our room, not having somewhere cold to store our 'bottled gifts' we brought from our wedding was disappointing. Also the reception lounge bar was closed constantly, its a shame as we fancied a nice cocktail and snack to celebrate, the actual restaurant was a bit too pricey for us.
