This property is well maintained and the hosts really thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and accommodating! We used this location for a business planning retreat and we had more than enough space for our group of 8. We will definitely be back!

We had a 5 night stay using both the retreat house and the barn for a family reunion. The retreat house was well configured for handicap accessible on the main level. Lots of great activities for young kids through adults. Will definitely be back!

Amazing home!

We loved the home and enjoyed our stay tremendously. The jacuzzi was amazing! The home was very clean and very well stocked with kitchen appliances. We would stayed again!

Retreat, Renew, Refresh

We couldn't have been better cared for during our recent stay at Evergreen Acres. Lisa and Rich are so hospitable and quick to respond to any little question. The homes are attractively decorated and so clean and welcoming. The women who gathered for our retreat were blown away again by the beauty of the space and the thoughtfulness of the hosts.

I don’t think we could’ve asked for a better place

We wanted a retreat location that felt like we were going far outside the city, but that was still close enough or we weren’t wasting a whole day traveling, at 30 minutes from our office location was tremendous, there were so many options for Spaces and different environments all within the two homes. All of the furnishings and amenities were top-notch, but I think what really set this place apart was the pre-planning and care given to our stay by the House Manager and the owners, I felt like it was a boutique planning company more than just a short term rental. We will definitely be back.

50th Wedding Anniversary Reunion

Our 4 children and spouses, and our 26 grandchildren just finished a delightful stay at the Gatheryng House and Barn. The pond, hot tub, basketball court, soccer field and trails gave our teens and "middles" plenty to do. I thought they had more fun swimming and playing than a day at a fun park: it was that much fun. The accommodations were excellent--I mean excellent and thoughtful--but without being over-the-top opulent. We felt comfortable. The owners of the property were very attentive and responsive. I recommend this venue without the slightest qualification. It was just great!

Excellent experience!

My husband's family were the original owners of this property and built the main house, tennis court and smaller lake. We were amazed at how beautiful the renovation of the main house and barn turned out! Every convenience you could ask for. The weather did not cooperate, but it didn't matter because the house and barn are configured perfectly for large gatherings! We couldn't have been happier with our stay and will try to come back once a year! Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with our family and friends.

My family had a reunion at The Gatheryng this month. This included over 35 family members from 6 states. The Retreat, The Barn and the grounds were impeccably maintained, extremely well appointed, and very comfortable. We enjoyed meals together in the Retreat, swam in the pond, used all of the games provided (pool, ping pong, shuffle board, fuse ball, rock wall, etc.). There was plenty for everyone of every age to do and plenty of quiet space too. I highly recommend this venue not only because the facilities were fantastic but because Lisa and Rich were informative, welcoming, and extremely responsive. Thank you for being the perfect place to make new memories and facilitate my parents meeting 4 great grand kids for the first time and celebrating their 70th anniversary with (almost) the whole family!
