Would have been an acceptable place for a short stay, however, it was hugely let down by hidden 'cleaning costs' that were not mentioned anywhere in the listing. It did not help that the contacts provided proved useless, since they never pick up. Beware if you are going to book.”

“The room was spacious, and provides was a complimentary breakfast and beverages to drink. The ensuite is a nice large size. Car parking can be a bit of a squeeze if there are guests with cars staying in all of the flats. There was good friendly communication with the owner most of the time. The WiFi was working, but for some reason not the smart TV. Maybe a previous guest messed it up. The house is on a good bus route, with a stop across the road and regular buses into Derby city……

“A mixed bag: positives: house was clean and the key lock and parking was convenient, and food and drink supplies very welcome. Negatives: our booking was changed fairly last minute from “the terrace” to a different house “the Mews” for unknown reasons. (So my review is not for this listing, but for “The Mews”.) “We only had 1 night but we left wishing we could stay. The flat was lovely and clean and had everything we could want. The bed is super comfy. Bathroom was a good size shower was excellent. Check in was so easy. I met the gentleman and his 2 lovely boys and was sorry we didn’t see them when we left. Highly recommend.”
