「Everything was just as listed. The house was very welcoming and we felt right at home. Communicating was easy and the hosts were great! I would definitely stay again and advise anyone needing a place to stay in Athens to book! 」

「Very relaxing location! 」

「We love the two separate cabins and enjoyed the fishing in the Ohio river. We even caught a catfish! We had everything we needed for our stay and the communication was great from the host. We wish we could have stayed longer than 1 day. Watch out for the poison ivy on the bank but other than that, great stay!」

「My husband and I loved the cabin. It was very comfy and we appreciated all of the extras provided by the host! The outdoor space was wonderful. We enjoyed the firepit (and S'mores!), the trail to the pond, and wildlife watching. Thanks for the food for humans, deer, and birds - what a bonus :) We also enjoyed all of the Mothman memorabilia as well. I think maybe we spotted Mothman over at the edge of the woods one night at dusk! Thanks for a fantastic stay - we'd love to come back. 」

「This place is in a quiet location, but not far from major attractions and shopping. Had everything we needed and plenty of space for us to relax and share quality time. The only thing we thought that it needed was a bar in the bathroom for the tub. We are all older - it was a 62, 70 and 80 year old in our group and its tough to get into showers that are in a tub setting. We went to Walmart and got one of the suction cup hand bars and put it on for our use- I needed another one for my house any...

「This property was huge in and out. We had more room inside than we needed and there were six of us. The outside fire pit and out building with a deck overlooking the river was a great spot for hanging out at night. The only issue we had was the upstairs toilet was not working at its best and the owner said it was most likely getting replaced. I will still give the property 5 stars because everything else was a plus and I would definitely rent again.」
