A very warm two double bed flat in a peaceful part of Reading :) We are situated very close to Central Reading 1.5miles with a bus stop down the road, Perfect for Business/Remote workers w/direct 25min train to London, 15min to Henley & free parking. A perfect place to escape from the busy city centre, into a peaceful, fresh country area, where you can enjoy the luxuries of wine on our sun beds, relaxing in front of the TV with Netflix, the perfect place to stay for remote work, a quick last minute booking or even for a long getaway!

5minutes from Sonning where George Clooney resides and owns the French Horn pub (popular).

Henley is a 12minute drive
Windsor a 30minute drive
London is 25minute train

Popular attractions nearby such as the Thames Lido

Riverside Central with many restaurants

Country walks, River and Lake near the property

Edge of the Chilterns

Great for exploring National Trust properties and the Thames towns of Henley, Marlow and Cookham. The property was tired however mostly as a consequence of having been set up on low budget. Kitchen doors sagging, poor fridge, utensils, crockery, pots and pans etc All need an upgrade. The mattress needs renewing and the sofa is quite uncomfortable. Despite pointing out that the TV was almost unwatchable and a promise to renew it nothing was done. There is no car parking space. It's on the road outside the property. The family cars are all parked on the drive and very little consideration was made as to guests accessing the holiday let. The owner was surprised to see us when we turned up. We were just lucky that he was at home otherwise we would have had nowhere to stay. No communication details were left by him on the booking website. All in all it was adequate but has a long way to go to be better. The owner was surpri

Grubby bathroom and generally poor condition

We had no prior contact from the Owner and so booked a 2 bed apartment. When I arrived it was a one bed apartment with a sofa bed in the lounge. The bathroom had a newish vanity installed but everything is boxed in cheap painted chipboard. It would cost so much to put this right. The property was generally knocked about and in need of decorating. The bathroom door, no lock, doesn’t close properly. No bowls in the kitchen, plates only, not great for cereal. The electric meter sits in the front room and clicks every few minutes. Not great when trying to sleep. The Owner seemed a nice chap but needs to invest in a bit of TLC for this property.
