“We stayed for one night at this lovely house and we enjoyed it very much. Perfectly clean, many thoughtful and sweet details throughout, comfortable beds, quiet & private. Huge deck in the back. Easy drive up to Bennington or down to Williamstown, lots of options for fun things to do. It's easy to imagine having a longer stay here. (We didn't need it for our short stay but there's a laundry room.) Kind, responsive host. We highly recommend this home.”

The location was perfect—an easy drive to the ski mountains and into West Dover for dining and errands. The house was well set up for a family getaway, and everything was exactly as described. “Emily was a very responsive and accommodating host. The house was super cute, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook, plus an awesome espresso machine. The teens in the group liked the games the house had. The location was excellent - very close to MassMOCA and everything else. We would definitely go back. ”

“Great location. Kitchen could use more coffee cups, dishes and hand towels. Was a bummer that there was no niceties, like even 4 pods for the coffee maker, etc. VACASA was responsive, which I appreciated and they really have found ways to keep things very bare bones.”

“Property was definitely unique. Communication was not great. I asked for an early check in and never heard back so we didn’t arrive early. There were tons of bugs when we arrived at 5 pm. A candle or spray would have been helpful.So many bugs we were unable to open windows or go outside. Many of the screens were missing or had holes. It was 93 degrees inside with all the windows and it was not prepared for our arrival. We had to figure out the ac splits which took a lot of trial and error and……

“Strong dog smell, dirty shabby condition of interior surfaces. Obvious makeshift repairs, spongy floors, torn, flaking couch. Kitchen counter had multiple burn marks and some sticky substance, corner held down with duct tape. Screen door off tracks, laying against wall. Wife was stung by insect in the unit, had to go to hospital. We moved out after only 3 hours, and literally slept in the car rather than go back. Owner uncaring, rude and greedy. Slow to return security deposit. I've……
