We arrived with an already PAID FOR reservation. at check-in the NEW employee claimed it was not paid for. She said my Amex was declined. Then she said she would have to start the reservation over, even though i showed her the confirmed, PAID, receipt. She called a manager at home & was told just to start over, I said okay as long as we got the room at the same price. The new price was $10 more. The next day, when looking at my AMEX app. I saw that the first reservation DID go thru. Hence, I essentially paid TWICE for the room & the 2nd time I paid extra.
